  • If you Google Saginaw Bay, chances are you’ll see a picture of a happy angler holding up a stringer of walleye. Saginaw Bay has become synonyms with walleye fishing, but the “Bay” has a lot more to offer the adventurous angler. On this week’s episode Jake Romanack of Fishing 411 TV and Travis Bohy the Fishing Department Manager of Jay’s Sporting Goods showcase a near shore bass fishery that has to be seen to be fully appreciated. Our boys cast spinnerbaits into shallow water that’s littered with cattails, bullrush, lily pads and you guessed it, piles of quality largemouth bass. When the dust settles, it’s a “bucket-mouth” beat down on a body of water most anglers would never associate with bass fishing.
