3 cup finals for liverpool this season and didn’t score a single goal. They are a quality side but they’ve came up short massively. BT sports coverage was poor all week, everyone involved didn’t give Madrid a chance

Common theme across all the finals was that the opponent was playing for penaties from minute 1. Chelsea got what was coming to them and Madrid would've seen a similar fate if it wasn't for Courtois having the game of his life. Liverpool played really well, just wasn't their night
They're not quality though even in the PL they just grind out boring 1-0's, can't handle pressure, bottle finals, they are so overrated it's criminal.

Totally disagree; Firmino and Thiago are very creative players. We’ve won the UCL, 3x 90+ point seasons and 3 finals- most of which was achieved with a very robust midfield. Looking at this performance; we just weren’t clinical and our front 3 were not playing with enough fluidity (not enough movement nor subtle link-up). Set pieces were also uncharacteristically wasteful. First half of the second half too; not enough movement in the front line- far too static (how could a midfield player utilise creativity without movement?)
Also: Salah had a very poor first half; wasteful and poor control. Díaz wasn’t dangerous enough as he wasn’t taking up goal scoring positions. It would’ve helped to have someone like De Bruyne- not really because he’s creative- but because he can carry the ball into dangerous areas and offer a goal threat from distance.
I had to come back to this 😂😂😂 all Liverpool will be celebrating is a fluke 7-0 win

Klopps knows he will bring in even more creative/ technically gifted attacking players who have a lot more cutting edge than what his team showed on the night. LFC are still very workmen like.. and his attacking players have played to many games and ageing.
With young fresh players like Diaz, F. Carvalio, hopefully Nunez and Gavi, that will stop teams playing a deep formation/ in effect, parking the bus and counter attacking.. Not many teams can counter attack like Real Madrid but what surprised us, is how successful there was at parking the Bus/ playing a deep formation.. yes Liverpool had the most possession and the better chances, but we did not have enough creativity guile/ vision and the right decisive pass and movement off the ball for all the possession.. klopp was correct, LFC was playing around the formation/ sideways and backwards.. Klopp has all these years built a formidable solid workmen like team.. Klopp Low Key has been and will be adding some very technically gifted players to move LFC to a even Bigger Levels.

Poor game from him, over hit his crosses, corners aren’t great and caught short defensively a few times.

We need forwards who can score. That has been our biggest weakness these last couple of years.
Liverpool payed the price for freezing Firminho out of the first eleven, or playing without an established striker. They have gotten away with it a few times this season. To play 3 finals without a single goal says a lot. Mane can't be your centre forward, I feel he was under utilised in the final as the left wing is his best position.Luiz Diaz is a great player but he won't score as much as Firminho or Jota. Overall, Klop and Liverpool lost the final to a more "experienced unit"
I agree 👍 with that Diaz is a Super Sub he would have started Salah Firminho and Mane then at around 65min he can Bring Diaz and Jota to replace Firminho and Mane
