It s awesome to learn a lot from your commentary and enjoy watching game. I ve only started playing not long ago and love the game, it is tons of fun. Does anyone know what Vulcans are for? They seem to lose against almost all other Vanguard units...
Thanks! Vulcans arent great in the mirror matchup. They excel vs light units in prolonged fights and tanking for exos. So your looking to have them in comps vs infernals (they do great vs gaunts) and celestial (good vs kri and vector) mostly. They have a very rare situation to be added into a late game macro for the mirror matchup if you both are going lots of exos. Exos are light but do a ton of damage, so the vulcan is more there to tank shots and put in a lot of damage if ignored.
Thanks! I'm having a lot of troubles with celestials, and I'm trying a lot of stuff out, sometimes I do a turret rush with early exos, but others I do vulcan pushes and hedgehogs. It really does depend on what the celestial player is going.
Yes, always. No reason (for any race) to go supply first. And supply buildings have lower construction time, while barracks are necessary for unlocking other buildings.
As the other comments mentioned, you want to go barracks first then supply depot. In game 1, I skip my supply depot so I can save up money to get a faster hedgehog, but you have to stop making workers if you want to do this.

So what was your build order mainly? Barracks first then supply depot?
If you're talking about the second game, it was:
12: CC
14: Barracks
19: Factory
23: Supply depot (note the scout died so that's actually 24)
