  • Living the American Dream focuses on the story of Vedad Hadzikadunic, a Bosnian immigrant who lived through the Bosnian war crisis from 1992-1995. Vedad’s story is an incredible example of how someone who saw their country gripped by a brutal war leaves to find a better life and discovers a community that they will come to love so dearly and eventually consider home. As we follow Vedad through his story, we learn not only more about his experiences, but also how dramatic of a change the immigrant experience can be, and how crucial of a role they play in helping us build and protect our communities.

Remember two things. 1- The French president openly said that 5 million Muslims were the greatest threat to Europe (Bosnia at the time).
2- the Dayton "Peace Agreement" is to Bosnia what "Operation Iraqi Freedom" was to Iraq. Beautiful label.
And as a bonus, Dr Alex Poole is Jewish. No explanation needed there
