I started dancing at 4yo & started hula in my teens. I taught & performed many years, I used to do hula shows as well. I had a yoga & dance studio for many years, but got exhausted of the business side of it, so I closed it & only teach online now.

Translation:
Majestic Maui, whose flower is the rose
Is well known for its excellence
Its favorite adornment is the rose, lovely in a lei
Giving cool fragrance that charms the visitor
Let us go to the sea of Kahului
The draw nets are pulled in slowly in rhythm
