My quick evaluation of the germanium overdrive:
THE GOOD
. lovely crunchy drive
. originally a guitar pedal, it sounds spot-on with bass!
. versatile yet with loads of character especially at high gain
. quite transparent at low gain
. excellent value (price / quality)
THE BAD
. better with the bass knob above 3/4 up for bass
. at high gain transients loose articulation
