I saw this show at Yokohama Arena in Nov. and saw them last night at Yokohama again, at Zepp. Like at the Arena, the Zepp show began with "Domination" and ended with "endless story". Other than "onset" the sets were different, which was the purpose of the concert at Zepp. As for the Arena, Akane saw her first concert there years ago, and that inspired her to become a professional musician and play arenas like that. And so she did.
The passion and enthusiasm in your videos are a big reason I became a fan of BAND-MAID, leading me to fly all the way over just to attend this concert in Yokohama (worth it!).
I am now imagining Mr. Rock and Roll giving the Alan Grant speech to the kid at the gym. "You see the shredder in front of you, going to town. When suddenly a bass solo hits you from the side, from a bare foot assassin... That you never even knew was there..."
It is always difficult from a male view point, not to let the beauty and joy the Band Maid ladies bring to a live show, influence your judgement of the band as a whole. Obviously the quality songs and musicianship is the main part but they are so charming and pretty, I fail not to let it influence my judgement. 2:12 was your leave the room part with the anticipation of: AH KARN NAY, not far behind at 2:21. This guitar/bass duel, with that underlying synth sound, makes my heart silently weep in a nostalgish kind of way. This sort of ambient atmosphere, I'm trying hard to remember when, or if, I heard something similar back in the 50+ years I've been studying this kind of music. Possibly early Porcupine Tree or Pink Floyd even.... I don't know, I'm all over the place, travelling back in time.
Hey Mr Rock n Roll, so the Yokohama Spin Off Concert last night had a real nostalgia vibe running thru it, ok - idk if you've checked out the Set List..but yeh, a real walk (trot, sprint! depending on the tempo of the songs, loll!) down memory lane..much beers with joy and tears with joy I'm sure were had by very many...🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺...but on that nostalgic note , I just wanna tip my hat to YOU and your role in showcasing Band-Maid and their music way back when,... i remember that you were one of the few really genuinely hyping this stuff and here you are still at it years later, you were NEVER a BANDWAGONIST, and i really appreciate you for that man!! ..so yeh ...🤘rock onnn mannnnnnn...BAND-MAIDDDDDD!!!🤘
I am the person who went to the live concert of the ado. It is Yokohama Arena. After an ado, I saw band-maid. I saw zutomayo in Harajuku,too. A little over 50,000 people in total. Anyway, there is not fat. It is only an American. lol When express it in height 'cm' weight 'kg' ・・ The average of Japanese people is (height -110 = weight). （ex.170cm 60kg,180cm 70kg・・・） These slender people are 50,000. Then, it was my experiences. When you appreciate a live in Japan, be careful.

What does that mean -- a new direction in music on their upcoming summer album... new battle gear... different stage show or venues... more collabs (The Warning, Lovebites, individual musician appearances?)... member and band projects like scoring movies, aniMaids, soloing projects like Cluppo... someone getting married or 👶🐣?? Misa always sends me to see the devil! for therapy, its noisy and heavy af. The controlled chaos is absolutely wild in their music. Ive heard they usually mix theire live shows so they dont repeat themself too much
I love Band Maid but I'm going to drop a note to suggest you listen to the new Judas Priest album. It's killer. Back to Band Maid, I've got this live concert pre-ordered and am really looking forward to it. From what I've seen of this concert it's pretty incredible. Best rock band on the planet.
