It just breaks my heart to see this happening. For seniors who have worked all their lives, some have been forced to find lower income housing. Mobile home lifestyle is at least a sense of security and a roof over their head.Just because they live in a mobile home park does not give people the right to classify them as lower class individuals. Some of you should just be ashamed of yourselves!
Hi im 10 ,today I had a field trip we going back to are school I saw the fire I way terrified I was very sad I felt like I was going to cry we prayed we hoped that everyone was safe and no one died.
I can't imagine the trauma suffered by all residents there. It took 4 days to contain this fire. 70 structures were destroyed and 2 people were killed. A garbage truck driver was charged with involuntary manslaughter for the fire. Against the law and warnings about fire conditions, he dumped burning material next to dry brush.
Anyone else think these fires seem suspicious. For one thing, that stand alone corner house - fire coming from no where & wind blowing in the opposite direction Plus the trees & shrubs seem immune to the fires - what’s up
Janette McGregor This is agenda 21 this is not a wildfire or a forest fire and it is most likely caused by Direct Energy Weapons . This is planned this is Evil and the world needs to wake up to it and not consent to it
#E. Ross - Who do you work for? You think this is a coincidence. You must have missed the map that shows 5 explosions in the areas that went up in flames.
This area in SoCal, in Riverside County is called the "Inland Empire." What it really is, is wildfire empire. During the summer and fall, it is arid, dry and littered with creosote bush, sage and scotch broom. All of this brush will burn vwhile it's green and growing. Also winds are always a factor as weather draws hot winds from the Mojave desert over the San Gabriel and San Jacinto mountains and their passes to fan the flames of any fire. When I was growing up nobody would build in many of the areas thst are now wall to wall housing because of the high risk of brush fires. Calmesa didn't even exist until it was incorporated from a part of Yucaipa in 1990. It was the high mesa area where brush fires are prone to work their way up to.
Hey imbeciles. Hot embers enter through eave vents, case closed. Been there seen that. Inside out fires are 80% of mobile park losses. If the owners closed the vents and stayed to put out embers they would have a house. The evacuate policy is a disgrace - every homeowner could be part of the team
This is even more devastating knowing that if your living in a mobile home park you probably don't have a lot of money to begin with. Literally every thing you own is in that trailer and it's now all gone.
Watching this from the comfort and safety of my home in Canada, I have to wonder if the apparent lack of any serious effort to save these mobile homes is part of a new urban development plan.
At 30:02, if you pause the video and look at the traffic on the highway to the right in the distance shot, you can see on the left edge, a sort of round darker patch. That’s the source of the fire. There was a garbage truck with a smoking load and he called his boss to ask what to do, they said he could abandon the truck and let it burn out, or dump the load and drive away. He decided on the latter but the hot Santa Ana winds picked up the burning embers and carried them off to the left, where the grasses quickly caught fire and spread rapidly. It happened around 2pm when the temps were high. Those firetrucks also run out of water when trying to fight dozens of camper vans, so they have to wait for refills to arrive, and with another fire raging a few miles away, resources are stretched.
This is for the 10yr old who commented. Happy Birthday sweet heart. The good Lord hears your prayer and i am praying for you too. I guess i am a grandma who was attracted to your cry. Luv and have a good nite.

That is what my grandfather did when a fire burned through the hills of Santa Barbara. He just turned on all of the sprinklers on his property - including one that was way up in an Oak tree - then he and my grandmother evacuated. People thought he was mental for putting a sprinkler up there but it worked as their home didn't burn and neither did anything on their property. Water bill be damned. It helped save their home.
