    It just breaks my heart to see this happening. For seniors who have worked all their lives, some have been forced to find lower income housing. Mobile home lifestyle is at least a sense of security and a roof over their head.Just because they live in a mobile home park does not give people the right to classify them as lower class individuals. Some of you should just be ashamed of yourselves!

    I can't imagine the trauma suffered by all residents there. It took 4 days to contain this fire. 70 structures were destroyed and 2 people were killed. A garbage truck driver was charged with involuntary manslaughter for the fire. Against the law and warnings about fire conditions, he dumped burning material next to dry brush.

    Anyone else think these fires seem suspicious. For one thing, that stand alone corner house - fire coming from no where & wind blowing in the opposite direction
    Plus the trees & shrubs seem immune to the fires - what’s up

    This area in SoCal, in Riverside County is called the "Inland Empire." What it really is, is wildfire empire. During the summer and fall, it is arid, dry and littered with creosote bush, sage and scotch broom. All of this brush will burn vwhile it's green and growing. Also winds are always a factor as weather draws hot winds from the Mojave desert over the San Gabriel and San Jacinto mountains and their passes to fan the flames of any fire. When I was growing up nobody would build in many of the areas thst are now wall to wall housing because of the high risk of brush fires. Calmesa didn't even exist until it was incorporated from a part of Yucaipa in 1990. It was the high mesa area where brush fires are prone to work their way up to.

      Hey imbeciles. Hot embers enter through eave vents, case closed. Been there seen that. Inside out fires are 80% of mobile park losses. If the owners closed the vents and stayed to put out embers they would have a house. The evacuate policy is a disgrace - every homeowner could be part of the team

    • @Jeni10
      @Jeni10 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      At 30:02, if you pause the video and look at the traffic on the highway to the right in the distance shot, you can see on the left edge, a sort of round darker patch. That’s the source of the fire. There was a garbage truck with a smoking load and he called his boss to ask what to do, they said he could abandon the truck and let it burn out, or dump the load and drive away. He decided on the latter but the hot Santa Ana winds picked up the burning embers and carried them off to the left, where the grasses quickly caught fire and spread rapidly. It happened around 2pm when the temps were high. Those firetrucks also run out of water when trying to fight dozens of camper vans, so they have to wait for refills to arrive, and with another fire raging a few miles away, resources are stretched.

    I saw one man at a different fire putting lawn sprinklers on his and other roof tops. Brilliant idea for putting out embers before they can catch. You would probably need generator backup for the pump in case power gets turned off.

    • @michaelnaretto3409
      @michaelnaretto3409 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is what my grandfather did when a fire burned through the hills of Santa Barbara. He just turned on all of the sprinklers on his property - including one that was way up in an Oak tree - then he and my grandmother evacuated. People thought he was mental for putting a sprinkler up there but it worked as their home didn't burn and neither did anything on their property. Water bill be damned. It helped save their home.

    Can't help my self, but thinking that there was a much bigger effort to save the bigger estates up hill. There were a lot of trucks, airplanes and around six helicopters, and they acted fast and ran all the time. In this poor neighborhood they walk around relaxed, there are one, maybe two firetrucks and virtually no helicopters or airplanes. And there was the same wind at the "rich" area too...so, is this normal in the USA?!?

    I realize in many trailer parks, they take these off their wheels, BUT wouldn't it be great if somebody invented a machine that could slide under the frame of an existing mobile home and move it (to hell with the pipes, this is an emergency) Then in a situation like this, if they could drag out every other house, they would not be so close together and less likely to loose a whole row. The point would be a means of creating something like a fire break.

    The grass is more important to save than the poor people's homes i see. Meanwhile they'll make drops directly onto homes in rich neighborhoods in LA.

      I've been watching this for almost 1:30 minutes and haven't seen the firemen in this neighborhood spray one drop of water. I understand there may not be fire hydrants there but at least drop a line in that pool and spray rooftops down. It looked like that was the main cause of it spreading from one home to another

    Don’t get how a fire can start in the centre of a caravan park and then on the edge? Is this another laser/5G fire? Too many in 1 year since last June.

      John Ryan I thought so. This was trumpets doing. Did he tweet any codes before the fires started? Like the Paradise one. He tweeted days before ‘Fire and fury.’
      Same as the first hurricane in Florida he tweeted days before ‘My guns are loaded.’ Which also occurred on the occult partial eclipse. Which is a sacrificial date.
      How many catastrophic events has there been since trumpet became president?
      The recent Bahamas hurricane; there’s an interview with a refugee, who said ‘The government are lying, this was no ordinary hurricane, there was no lightening, no thunder. This island was meant to be wiped out. This island was nuked!!’

    WHAT started the "simple grass fire"? Don't tell me it was embers from a far away fire. This was careless human behavior - or arson.

    • @Jeni10
      @Jeni10 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not arson, it was a garbage truck that was smoking and the driver called his boss for help. He was advised to dump the load. However the hot Santa Ana winds carried the embers over to the grasses. No charges were laid, it was an accident.

    notice the smoke coming out of roof vents. Those homes are burning from the inside out. Embers went in thru eave vents or windows. I lost a garage to this inside out folly. Vents are a dangerous thing in California

    Don’t worry about what it caused the insurance company will pay for the lost. Even the cost it too high or lower it’s not matter the owner should have a good dream and got the brand new house 🏠 hihihi good luck. Only one thing we are concerning is the firemen are working hard in the danger situation.
