@darrylmierl199 Hi, no it isn't the original cabinet. It is a new custom made cabinet that is built from solid poplar. The Mirage nanostats are fantastic satellites. I have about 8 pair of them around the house on a few different surround sound setups. Thanks, Jay
@@darrylmierl199 Hi, the cd player is a small portable that i take with me when I go to buy vintage hifi equipment. I'll update you with the make/model. Jay
@billybash01 this is a different 1050, ill be listing another one soon as well. I'm currently selling off 95% of my vintage audio collection. If you are a fan of vintage audio equipment, keep an eye on my listings if you'd like. I'll be listing a few hundred pieces of vintage hifi gear in the coming weeks and months.
@RickO.-vq8oh Hi, Rick. Your right, it did not. I mention in my Ebay listing that I will change them to the soft white "true original" bulbs, or bright white leds for the new buyer, if they prefer. The fm reception at my house is extremely poor, and I'm surprised it picked up as many stations as it did. Im not sure if the reception meter is reading 100% accurate either. For what its worth.. the fm stations do sound very good. Appreciate the comment. Jay
@@jasons4444 Thanks for Reply! My Dad bought that unit and 4 HPM 60 SPeakers back in 1978/79 and I blasted that thing for over 10 years (I remember the window glass would shake) and it lasted forever! Sweet unit!!
Beautiful with those blue leds.
@@ronaldfriedline9297 Thanks. I really like the blue color leds.
I see another nice Pioneer unit on the left at the beginning of your video. I am also a multiple silver face Pioneer collector. Well done!
@@darrylmierl199 Thanks, Darryl. The other receiver is a 980. Pioneer really knew how to do silver-faced hifi. Great receivers.

Nice! Those mirage speakers sound as goo as they look? Also, is that the original cabinet?

So sad that I have come on here to fantasize about one day owning a Pioneer 1980 or even a 1050😢
What CD player is that? To the left of the SX-1050? I want add a small CD player to my SX-1250.

@ Nice . I already have your eBay store saved as a favorite
Let me know if there is any particular model you'd like.
Thanks
1. Did not come with BLUE lighting. 2. Siganl is very weak when you tune to FM stations.
