Séamus Ennis plays a version on his flat set, you can find it here on TH-cam, I'm sure you've come across it. Perhaps you could give it a go. Liam ó Maonlaí sings it as Gaeilge, it's an air about the Mass rock, during penal times mass would be said in secret at these rocks.
I've had a search for it and listened to a few different versions. It's a beautiful air. Thanks for sharing the title and story behind it. It definitely voices well on the flat set... I may have to try and give this one a go! Much appreciated!
