Author Colin Walsh popped into Kennys to sign copies of his debut novel Kala and chat all things Galway.
Kala is a page turning thriller set in the west of Ireland, in which a group of friends are reunited in a small town where, years earlier, they all spent a summer together after which their friend Kala went missing. Now reunited there fifteen years on, they are forced to confront their own complicity in the events that led to Kala's disappearance.
In November 2023, Colin won the Newcomer of the Year award for the book at the 2023 Irish Book Awards.
