You've made your place very homey and since you both work so hard, comfy furniture like that couch is a great idea. (We live on the UES and people are surprised to learn it's a cheaper neighborhood than many in the city). Wishing you both the best.

Only those who live in Manhattan realise how big this is - my friends and family outside of Manhattan think it's tiny but it's only when you move here do you realise this is a really normal (to above average) size! We feel very blessed! And thanks for noticing the little details! I love Diptyque too! That's a great idea!
I love this appartment, its a very very decent space for Manhattan actually. I love your diptque collection as well. Regarding that jug, I upgraded from that to hand held bidets 2 years ago. My friend in NYC actaully showed me hers and she set it up in a rental in Manhattan. She got a hand held bidet that you can hang on the side of the toilet and it seriously is a life changer. You can find it on amazon and the best company is brondell , took me 10 minutes to set it up.

So humble and well spoken person you are..I love the way you talk and present your apartment...and yes I m Muslim so I know what that JUG thing is in your bathroom..I am from Pakistan and it is called LOOTA in Urdu language and it is basically use for washing as it is primary and compulsory for Muslim to clean themselves with water not with toilet paper

we don't have to - we can wear a formal shirt and pants/ skirt if we want (office clothes) but people tend to wear scrubs it's like a uniform, especially here in America. And it doesn't matter if we get them dirty, we can just easily wash them etc! But no real reason behind it! More of a uniform for the healthcare professionals :)
