When confronted with the universe's truth, all you can do is laugh. It's the most wonderful experience here to find out who You are.

"This teaching on the Four Noble Truths hit home for me. It's a powerful reminder that suffering is universal, but there's a path to overcome it. Grasping the truth changes everything."

Thank you very much for this presentation. I listen to it again and again. I am finding GREAT COMFORT AND VALUE in gently and persistently practicing focusing on my breathing as a trusty anchor for me to the present moment and to my body.

AI generated art, is it? I can see it by the fingers. But the story is great, voice is pleasant, music is fitting, and pictures are joyful. I like this.

Recently I had a thought that by desiring enlightenment you can never achive it because its just another desire that causes suffering

I used to think i was crazy for laughing at everything funerals, pain when i healed, i laugh at everything then my parents would whoop me azz with the belt because i didnt stop laughing until it bled my skin, all because i didnt understood school and failed classes and snirked or laughed when they yelled at me for laughing at such anger and frustaion 😂 i still love them and forgive them for that childhood pain which i guess was necessary to help me be a good kid. I am in army now and i try my best to keep a straight face with cracking up my soul just wants to smile everyday but i gotta fake it till i make it because in the army they want you to be serious

This is lovely and delicious mind candy for the weak, but it is selfish and wrong. Zen is not Pablum for the soul. I ask is it not also "living in the moment" to sweep and care about the things of the world? Hotei was no longer a child. Must we only act with the naivete of children to be happy? Did Hotei stop eating, bathing, caring, and just die? When the invaders come, and they will come, who will protect these children? Should we just let all the enlightened perish and throw away 1000s of years of progress? If you say yes, you partake in a denial of part of being human and thus can never be a full creature or achieve harmony - hide not in your shell. Harmony is achieved by accepting struggle for what it is and thus resonating strength to walk and work joyfully amidst the sorrows of the world.
Hotei's mistake, and yours, was a misunderstanding of the child's situation. The child was not free from struggle, but his burden was less because he was a child. One cannot drink mother's milk one's whole life and expect to grow into a man. And the choice is not enlightenment or growth into maturity. The two are coextensive. Your oversimplification is misleading and juvenile. I hope you will take pains to correct it.
