Hi there I'm a 58 years old mechanic left behind in tecnology,a big thanks to all you people who have taken the trouble to share with us and demmonstrate theory and test procedures on modern vehicles best wishs martin north wales GB.
Well, we appreciate when people post, comment and opine. If some folks don't like that's life. I do however appreciate you posting and liking. Our goal is to disseminate knowledge on automotive technology. Thanks for posting.
Thank you so much. You're not the only one dealing with technology and it has nothing to do with age or the country you live in. We hope you stay in touch and keep posting. Our channel "ADPTraining" is here to serve you. THanks again.
I think you will find that what this video meant to convey is; If you don't have 12 volts, your MAF is probably ok and before you move on you need to find out where the 12 volts are at. Of course the MAF could be bad and depending on circumstances fron the time that the MAF went bad you could have also have lost the 12 volt feed to the MAF. As for the way you expressed your oppinion, i.e (Lack of Basic Common Logic) i think that is uncalled for This channel provides very useful information, FOC
I disagree with piercing the wire, since doing so can damage the wire or if not properly sealed afterwards the wire will most likely corrode. Instead use a sowing T-pin and back probe the terminal, attaching leads (via alligator clip) to the T-pin and ground. Safer and less destructive than using a piercing probe.

You are not doing any sensor testing. You are simply testing 12V at the input of the circuit. What should the sensor voltage be??? You do not state this.
Voltage output is different per manufacturer. So, use the PIDs calculated values to help you decipher the values. It's all here. sites.fastspring.com/autodiagnosticsandpublishing/instant/automotive_sensor_testing

You then have an electrical issue. The MAF will not burn a fuse. Check your vehicle electrical wiring first... Start from the fuse.
Thanks that's Good information idea video post
Thanks for sharing...
I love Steven Hawkings videos ;)
I hope I can trace a problem on my MAF
OAPMrTickle Thanks, this might help.

Siena ignición.
what if your battery is in the trunk?
What if it is? Post back with more...
ADPTraining I have a lincoln ls and i cant use the battery negative post as a ground because the battery is in the trunk.
Use chassis ground, almost the same but about 100 mVolts difference.
Many thanks!
why is there dislikes on this??????
I suspect it is because Mr Roboto came out of retirement.
