So funny watching you fish! Wouldn’t find me doing that. I don’t like boats or water! And fish isn’t my favourite meal! 😂 I’d be the one making a trail thorough the bush for a walking path!
You just mentioned the 2019 bushfires in Australia. My sister and her husband lost almost everything when their home in the Adelaide Hills burned to cinders just before Christmas that year. She now talks about it as a blessing in disguise as it meant she spent so much more time with our mum before she died. They now have an even more beautiful property on the other side of the Adelaide Hills. I think you’d love it there too.
Oh what a tragedy! Also, what an incredible way to look at it all. That's how some are able to 'rise from the ashes' (so to speak) by having such amazing attitudes. My best wishes for your sister and her husband. So very inspiring... ❤️
When it surfaced, it actually scared me - I thought she somehow hooked a sea-monster! That was the biggest fish Melodi ever caught before. It wouldn't even fit in our bucket! Thanks for watching and commenting. -Ryan
Good job, Melodi!! I don’t fish but other than my Dad, all the rest of my family loved to. We spent a lot of weekends on the lake when we were growing up. Daddy would fish a little. Mama would have brought a picnic lunch, Vikki B ALWAYS brought a book or two! 😂

The excitement in your voice when you caught that fish! Awsome!
