Your videos and channel is so underutilized , you literally saved me from dropping out all together, by helping me understand the concepts of behavior modifications. My prof. recommended your videos after I reached out for help. Thank you x1,000,000,000

So in your example with the car, would a CMO-R require you to engage in behaviors that remove the actual car/stimulus itself, or simply engage in behaviors to avoid what the car signals (that an aversive party is going to happen soon) meaning you would engage in any bxs to avoid being in contact with the noisy party?

Wouldn't that function as a conditioned negative reinforcing stimulus, aka as a "warning signal"?

+Στράτος Τσουκάρης I'm gonna be completely blunt with you and do something that is rarely done in my world: I don't know for sure how to answer your question.
I can tell you that your description is how I have conceptualized the term. But I can also tell you that it's not a correct conceptualization as MOs effect the value of a reinforcing stimulus.
So exposure to the stimulus will change the value of the sr but not because of basic deprivation/satiation type effects, rather, by experiencing other stimuli in conjunction with those. Maybe. ;)
Original references here are worth reading. But I'm still not the best on these.
