I have very recently become interested in becoming a forklift operator, hoping for an opening to pop up at my place of employment. I have been watching TH-cam videos and even taking a "peek" at some of the work instructions on-site at my work. From what I have "learned" so far, if this were an actual "load" he was retrieving, he would have moved it out a couple inches after lifting off the rack, set it back down, then extend the forks further to get the load up against the mast, then proceed to raise it just off the rack and then retract back and away from the rack, then slightly tilt the forks back to offer a more stable load, back out until he had adequate clearance from the rack, lower the mast/load and then turn and proceed to the desired location with the load. 🙂👍
What a STUPID MOVE....Why would you drive to the rack when your forks Extend ......you just took all of your pallet visibility away from yourself......Rookie move
I have several years worth of using a crown reach truck hard on neck hut very satisfying.
I have 12 years expérience
Crown reach trucks are used at my place of employment. I hope to someday be an operator of one of those awesome pieces of equipment!
I have 18 years experience driving PIT equipment and there is no other feeling operating machinery. Please be safe and have a good day.
I hope someday very soon, I learn how to drive both a counterbalance forklift and a narrow aisle reach.
Raymond makes the best reach trucks.
