This episode had some great moments along with hokey ones. Yet I still return to it. WW has had better episodes but it's had worse. Not sure why either ABC or CBS threw in space aliens, but it did make a change of pace from the usual tropes and not completely in bad ways. Thank you for posting these vignettes as they rekindle interest. :)
You're welcome! CBS was probably looking to cash in on the popularity of a new film in the sci-fi genre called "Star Wars". Indeed, it was in this episode they put the series stunt coordinator behind the mask of the space creature I've always called "Cheap Darth Vader". :-)
Understand that when WW was first on ABC, it was set during WWII. After ABC cancelled it (not for low ratings), CBS scouped it up and advanced the timeframe to current day. The ABC version first had the character Andros (i.e. an alien) who was played by a much older man (Tim O'Connor). CBS brought him back but in a much younger (& handsomer) version played by Dack Rambo. They did this for him to be a romantic interest for WW. Unfortunately, Dack passed away from AIDS in 1994, but we WW fans will always remember him. His silver suit rocked!!

Note: That fountain she jumps over is the same one they used on Friends. It was on the back lot at the Warner Brothers Burbank Studio, across the street from where the facade they used for Diana Prince's apartment used to be.

Lol.... Little miss villain spy is rubbing her arm like the lasso was cutting through the skin. Wonder Woman didn't have it completely wrapped around her. She has learned that is no ordinary lasso. 😉

Seriously, repeating this show is truly like a high end 70s x rated movie, without the sex and (sadly?) the nudity. The acting, writing, editing, and choreography are hilarious in a good way. In the show maker's defense, they knew it was cheesy.
I always thought her seasons 2 and 3 costume was better looking on her. The blue shorts were higher cut which I think was done to allow her legs easier movement. I noticed at times that the shorts actually have a purple hue to them. She had the best legs in suntan pantyhose. Women wore them a lot on tv back then.

The better question is why she felt she had to jump up to the roof and then down through the skylight rather than just running into the building to get to the room. Also, what laboratory has a huge skylight in the roof?
