The frost thing in university challenge actually makes sense hoar frost is water vapour that sticks to things like fences or bushes and looks crystalline. Yeah the poem bit doesn't make sense but there is hoar frost, so not that absurd

Bradley Walsh just recently met Fanny after all these years lol
Apparently, the Family Fortunes contestant had overheard one of the answers was "chicken" while off-set, so thought "turkey" would be a suitable alternative. However, he got a little over-eager in answering.
Couple that with the fact he didn't hear the question when chicken was given as an answer, so he couldn't be sure which one his answer of turkey was supposed to go with.
Fun fact: In Danish "slut" is translated to "Ending" or "The End"
And if a shop is having a final shop sale, on the facade window in Denmark will probably say "slut salg" 😊
I knew the snake charmer would be number 1. It had to. It's beyond hilarious.

Bradley Walsh bloopers on a loop can give you many entertaining afternoons. Beat The Chasers would be cool but being on Countdown would be great. What did you win on Countdown? I've only seen the stupid version. The original never got shown in Australia but I like that game.

Even as an American, I knew Fanny Schmelar and Snake Charmer would be in the top three. Also want to mention similar incident on a later episode of Catchphrase which was “Dicing With Death” xD

To be fair, that jane Austin question was difficult for the first question on who wants to be s millionaire, i too would have failed that, the first questions are usually simple if not answers themselves, had it said jane austin is a A astronaut B football player C french breakfast D author it would be a normal first couple of questions
You forgot the worst ever "Crystal Maze" contestant, who, when faced with a grid of letters and numbers on a wall, U3 D2, which meant Up 3, Down 2, and so on, just said, "I don't know what to do!" The host, Richard O' Brien, then had to come in and show him what to do!
