When I try to make the image bigger, I drag a corner of the image out (with the little dot) but it stretches the image up and out. I just want to make the image bigger, keeping it with the same side proportions. Can I get some help?!
Press Shift+Alt and then drag the corner.
or
Press and hold Shift from the keyboard and then drag the corner :)
it will maintain everything as it is and let you enlarge the size of the image :)

Whenever I switch to the 3d layer the background changes and has a grid, but yours doesn't. How do I change this?
its fine bro but if you don't want it just go to edit>preference>performance>and uncheck the 3d grid .

When i Merge them they like become way to big in front of my screen

Calm down man.there is nothing for download for this effect.everything is created in Photoshop.you dont need anything. only thing you need is your logo.i have provided that logo and link to download.you can search this logo easily ;)

Brother it will only work in 3D Space you have use it.you can also make it illusion 3d without 3d but there will be lots of layers involve in that process.

Bro .you have to install Extended Version of Photoshop cs6 .YOU ARE currently using Photoshop CS6 Regular version and in that version there is no 3D Features :)

hi! this tutorial is amazing to follow but i'm having one problem when it comes to rendering, the shadows get very grainy and it looks awful, i did research and found you can change your 3D preferences to make it work, but with more research found that 3D preferences doesn't exist anymore. any idea how to get rid of the grain? or maybe find 3D preferences somewhere?
Let the Photoshop Complete the Rendering .in start it will show the grain.it will take a lots of time to complete the render :).just as i showed in this video. Sadly Photoshop is very slow in 3D Rendering

Maybe it's a stupid question .. but I dont have the "Adjustments" menu in the top right next to "Properties" like you have .. so I cant finish the project playing with colours like you do .. how do I add that if there is a way ?
No its ok to ask about any problem .
well if you somehow closed the Adjustments panel .its very simple to get it back.there are two ways
one way is to Click on Windows over the menu in Photoshop and you will see Adjustments .click on it and you will get it back.
Second way is Just click on Windows>Workspace>Reset

Use Magic Eraser Tool to remove White Background from Logo .it will make your image transparent

when i click on New 3d extrusion. it just say Could not complete your request because the path is too complex? i just did everything right exactly like you.
bro you have created very small and complex paths. that's why this error is coming.first try on simple text and after that create big paths with you desired shapes.

Answer for : @ldRolley : " 3d the logo looks deformed " when you creat a new file vefore drop the logo on tools choos squared pixel ;-))
tell me how to reduce the extrusion which u mention in 05.42
brother watch carefully everything is cleared.to reduce extrusion Go to the Properties and Select the Text there will be a slider named Extrusion Depth.from there you can reduce or Increase the amount.
