Tutorial: Make any 2D logo into 3D using Blender, Photoshop & Illustrator

- Learn how to make a high quality 3D logo from any 2D logo using Blender 3.0
Using an SVG file we will extrude the geometry texture our logo using BlenderKit and render it using cycles to end up with a beautiful premium looking design. You can do this with any logo using this technique.

I have a problem when importing svg in blender.
The text curves appear to be 0.01m below other curves.
I tried both inkscape and Illustrator.
Brining the text up takes lot of time.
Can you help me fix this

Just installed illustrator and I don't have that edit bar you do that holds "Image Trace" cannot find it anywhere, can any can anyone help?

I'm a little confused by why you had to duplicate a bunch of layers and merge in ai, also, my lighting was way too bright at the end but I followed along very easy! nice job!

@@KantSleep Haha yes, he's trying to flatten the layer by adding a new layer and merging it with that. He just did that by duplicating multiple times which doesn't matter.

Followed up, used node Wrangler to apply a texture i had, but the texture (and materials for that matter, i tried) don't show up in viewer or render. Can't figure up why
Maybe check that your logo is converted to a mesh and then unwrap it in the shading editor

Please HELP ME, I don't understand why the black metallic material in the background doesn't look black, it has a brownish tone! And in the render everything is messed up, additional the golds don't shine.... I don't know what's wrong!
It can be the gild reflecting in the black which gives it a brown tint. Maybe check the colour values. And play round with the metallic and roughness sliders in the material tabs of your plane/surface object. Also check the colour of your lights mKe sure they are set to white
blender tab doesn't show up after installing, any advice on that?
After installing blenderkit did you search it in the add-on section and ticked the box to enable it?

Seems like you have wasted your time! You downloaded the logo as vector. Why did you pasted it in Ps and open again in AI?
