Supplement B: How to Tune a Darbuka | Darbuka Mastery Program

This lesson refers to tuning a metal Darbuka, not a ceramic Darbuka. A metal Darbuka can be tuned by anyone. To tune a standard Egyptian Darbuka (like a Malik Instruments Darbuka), you will need an Allen Key (usually 5mm diameter).

..Since 12 years old I started playing drums,- for the next 12 years I played music and had a rock band until we broke up (it was traumatic for me so I quit playing). 10 years later somebody left his Darbuka on my airbnb place ..and...It Is BEAUTIFUL!... but it is till now, later again ,4 more years since the Darbuka was mainly an ornament for the airbnb, that I am studying more seriously this instrument. Thanks You God! ...I feel my soul is getting back! The soul of drumming.
