Thanks Jason, we have been developing her for quite a while now and this weekend has been a great opportunity to see how we are going at full throttle. We’ve learned a lot but best of all She is screaming her heart out and loving it. We even beat a lot of Japanese bikes home to take 3rd prize. WooHoo!
I’m glad it’s all going well. I hope the salt flats are dry for your next attempt. I would like to come down and be a part of that, when it happens. Great work@ Twist Grip Tales. You have an awesome team. Cheers.
An awesome team Who though it was a crazy quest. But we are all amazed at wonderful the handling is of this bike and how willingly she revs n revs. Didn’t even need a tappet adjustment. Smiles all around. And there is much more to come PLUS the attack on the salt. Thanks for watching John and cheering us on
Hey there Michael, It was an awesome weekend The bike ran so well and yes we grew in confidence enough to hold “little Jack” flat out through turn #1. All very exhilarating and rewarded with a 3rd place. A huge weekend for the Race Crew and lil Jack
Thanks for watching Calambres. More footage to come. Also posting on Facebook. 17 front sprocket with 38 on the rear. We may go back to stock gearing 36 But pulls 10k rpm very happily 80 mph / 130kph. A magic little motor. Only need to strengthen the clutch a little to be 100% happy. Cheers Bruce
I'm running 18t front and 39t rear I've got it up to 75 mph GPS says but I stay away from 9k revs it likes 8600 rpm I'm running a PZ30 carb I want to try a power jet carburetor it could work as a wet shot paired with the nitrous kit from eBay for 100$ USD to help me on the up hill stretches on the highway 🛣️ I want to go down a tooth in the rear would I lose top end speed much?
Of course this vid isn’t about Braaap bikes and if/where to buy , etc. but ,,, anyone know if they’ve actually become defunct ? Still legally tied up ? Someone wanna pop one in a shipping container to the States for me. Jk. But I SO want one and they were (-) this close to selling them up here and then … well , it didn’t look good. Anyone ? Thanks
Braaap are still designing and selling a range of bikes Lisa These Chinese made bikes are based on a cgHonda engine and Are sold under lots of names all around the world including USA. So look around I’m sure you’ll find one nearby They are amazing little bikes
