Hello Richard. What I did to stop being a one sided bowler was, in social games or practicing, I would alternate after each end, bowling forehand one way and then backhand coming back the way. So now I am never bothered in a game if I have to change my hand. The other possible advantage of this is that you are bowling on the same side of the green and therefore you have a better idea of how it's running. All the best.
Thanks again Alistair for your comment My indoor home bowls rink is fairly even each side but many other indoor rinks are not Outdoors the difference can be amazing so what you are doing is good Kind regards Richard
I have that very problem, good on the backhand but very poor on the forehand, I can't seem to find the correct line. Is it the body position on the mat?, and how do you adjust it.
What I’ve taught to you one-sided bowlers is to try it without the fear of making a mistake. Then you explain to them their differences and adjust each area that needs adjustment, one step at a time.

@@ivecounijettry using the same position in the mat but widen your aiming points. Let me know how that gets on.

Well done
I think overcoming fear is one of the best things to do
