Thank you for sharing. Wonderful snapshot of the James, mapped as the Powhatan Flu by John Smith. So much history indeed along all of VIrginia's waterways. Where is the waterfall located?
Its Falling Springs Falls. Its located along 220 between Covington and Hot Springs. Its a beautiful waterfall, but jumping the fence and walking to the top or bottom is illegal, and if you get busted the ticket is not cheap. Guessing since this was a state production they got special permission. Its interesting that they included it, as is really not the "beginning" of the James - Falling Spring Creek is a middle tributary of the Jackson River, which together with the Cowpasture form the James.
This committee is to embarrassed to restore our monuments. Great Virginians is Robert E Lee and Thomas, Jonathan Jackson they are ashamed of these great men.
They were great men. A little knowledge without true comprehension is a dangerous thing. Most people have just heard a few things about them and jump to judge.
@@triciabyrne7761 so true , The folks in charge of VA Tourist info have no idea the Good these men have done for our State. Just one example that Stonewall funded the all first black church in our Old Dominion. The Church is still open today .
@@ThecrazyJH96 sad you did not k know that about a great American and Virginian. I guess your right take every single monument down in this country then ,fair is fair right ,

Lmao put them in museums where they belong. Do away with what the Daughters of the confederacy did
