I totally understand Dylan deciding not to come back to Teen Wolf but it just doesn’t make sense for them to have not called Stiles before so much crap hit the fan. Like we all know 9 out of 10 of the time Scott’s plans suck and that’s why he calls Stiles. There’s a couple of fans stories I’ve read where Stiles is absolutely livid because no one called him.
I didn't own a tv when two was on the tv. Don't remember how I got on to it either. Anyway between TH-cam and Wattpad I've seen or read most of the tv series. I've been trying to purchase a set of all the seasons for a couple of years now but no luck. What I wanted to say in answer to your comment was I blame Tyler Posey for being the instigator in not using Stiles and Derek in a storyline. Was watching TH-cam and Tyler and Jeff were being interviewed. Tyler came out and said the following. I don't have it exactly right but hears goes, "If the only reason you're watching Teen Wolf is to see Sterek then you're missing out on the whole story." The last part is what I can't remember. My young sister was a fan of Tyler Posey but for some reason I never liked him. He never really sat well with me and I couldn't tell you why. He needed to be at the top and thought an awful lot of himself - you know, full of himself. The interview came when Sterek was already being shipped quite a bit. Scott and Allison had just met. I've just remembered that it is a woman who did the synopsis of why they wasted Stiles and, especially, Derek. I've seen her do other things like this and it's always about something controversial to do with two. Don't remember her name, though. One of the things she said was Posey had been against the idea from the start. Since he was one of the producers he had a lot of pull. I also didn't know that Derek died in the movie. Sorry to have rambled on for so long.
I really do think that Jeff should have at least have Scott call Stiles to let him know that Allison was "alive" and Derek died. I understand the Dylan had other obligations and couldn't be in the movie but I am sure they had recordings of his voice and could have created a phone call. Dylan most likely would not have minded. Of course I don't know for sure but they could have tried.
It's really wonderfully sad. 😥💙. Very well done, the sequences marry with the others. Derek didn't deserve to die. It's always the best who leave too soon 😔
