So dumb. The fact that u wrote that, looked at it, n still thought it was funny and posted it is really sad. I've seen a lot of really stupid comments and still this is near the top. Just don't quit your day job to be a comedian. I promise you'd suck.
Wow, I bet the critters who managed to survive the digging and planing of the area experienced a Noah-like flood, but with no ark. Disaster to the bugs...how fast does a bug run uphill?
I think “lake” is a bit of a stretch pond is more like it I like to think the first prerequisite to be a lake is not being able to throw a stone across it😞
Nice! Now-Stock that baby with plenty of fish! I'd recommend Shad, Largemouth Bass, and Smallmouth Bass, if the water is cool enough throughout the year. Also-White and Black Crappie. They're a great choice for any Lake! Finally-Don't forget the Bluegill. They need to be in there, too!
okay i think he meant that in two minutes of your life u can witness this lake fill up. Title needed to say that, but maybe he figured we had brains and aren't SNOWFLAKES!!!!
Aww... I was actually looking forward to watching a massive torrent of water make a lake appear in 2 minutes. Your title makes no mention that the video would be at 16x speed. Kinda misleading.
+Paul Fletcher So what's the story here? It's the fourth video I've stumbled on tonight showing people apparently enlarging lakes and ponds! I'm curious as to what's behind it all.
carmium ... Pretty sure most people do it to have their own "swimming hole". It'll also help the water table in the immediate area (good for plant/grass growth), assuming there is enough river/rain water to sustain the lake/pond.
Couldn't decide if the poor operator was trying to stop an unintentional flood or was engaged in a controlled fill😉 back filling the water source as soon as he breached it so as to close the spillway in time to avoid overfilling the pond.🤷♂️ prime video for filling in your own captions.😄🙂
Imagine being so good at operating an excavator that you could go at even half of this speed. Construction companies would be waving $30-40/hr+ at you.
I'm more impressed by the loader then the actual 'fast forward lake' filling up.
It's a Trackhoe not a loader
Wow that loader operator should get a raise for working so fast. xD
He probably made himself dizzy at that pace.
That's not a loader, that's an excavator.
😂😂😂
It's called time lapse photography
Rena Fox r/WOOOOSH
If you play it in reverse its "Lake empties in 2 min while being dammed."
tato salad
The video would "violate" the second law of thermodynamics.
If you push the hold button, it's just a lake.
if you play the video at half speed in reverse , the lake empties in 4 minutes.
If you set the play speed to X2 it fills in 1 minute.
You should increase the speed of the video even more and call it 30 seconds to fill a lake
Pond actually
That excavator would have to be called Blurr then.
thenerdnetwork lmfao
😂😂😂 nice one
I watched at 2x spd
I got as big a kick out of watching the backhoe as in watching the lake fill! Heavy equipment operator par excellence!
Excacator.
Now that I've watched this, i'm going to go spice things up by watching some paint dry.
Rachel Sterling -- that is very funny my sentiments exactly!
Just another smartass, there needs to be more people like us !
I'm watching glue dry
There's a grass growing marathon going on right now. In case the algorithm needs a hint.
😭🤣🤣
Rachel Sterling - I actually had a clock watching party. It was off the hook!! You ain't lived until you've watched the hands move on a clock.
I think that piece of Machinery should be drug tested
LMAO!!
😂😂😂
It's definitely on cocaine
The machine is doing whippets!
He’s on price per bucket
I can fill my bath in 30 seconds too, if I speed up the recording
What was ya expecting? Tsunami?
@@Pbvbrb 🤣🤣
That's how quickly I run through my paycheck, that too, minus the time lapse!
Hehe..
somebody needs to give that operator a piss test asap.. he's movin way too fast lol
The worker working the earth mover was working hard!!!!! Fun to watch!!!!
I want those 2 minutes of my life back.
No refunds
Wow that’s one quick excavator!
"I said bake a cake, not make a lake"! Damn it!!

The really amazing thing is how fast that excavator can move and how well its operator uses it at that speed./sarc
Look you can see Linda up on the hill
I think “lake” is a bit of a stretch pond is more like it I like to think the first prerequisite to be a lake is not being able to throw a stone across it😞
Every pond in Minnesota is called a lake.
I dig this kinda stuff 😀
Jeffrey Bue more like. A pond
Lol, I was watching the excavator nearly the whole time. It was like it was making an excavator nest for little excavator babies.
That excavator looks like me doing my homework while the teacher is picking it up
Dang that dude on the roundabout is digging his job.. 😝😂🤣
The excitement never ends
Sweet lake bro, can I buy a spot for my 48' sail boat on it's east coast? Looks ton of fun to go sailing there...
I bet that excavator driver gets head spins working at that pace.
The guy driving the backhoe should get a raise.
I'm still waiting for the the lake to fill up
It is very satisfying seeing that :) it must be so good for wildlife.
That's the fastest excavator I've ever seen. LOL
The machine that's moving the dirt is very funny at that speed :D
okay i think he meant that in two minutes of your life u can witness this lake fill up. Title needed to say that, but maybe he figured we had brains and aren't SNOWFLAKES!!!!
Looking at the water line before the fill up it looks like this video is backward. Looks more like a drain than a fill up?
Which lake is it? Kinda looks like American Horse Lake in Oklahoma. It was drained for dam repair.
that excavator looks funny if speed it up two times.
What stops the water from eroding the surrounding area? (If eroding is the right word) [turning the surrounding soil into mud
Saw the dam when it opened. Great!
If it's only two minutes, that is one high speed excavator in the background.
Tim Green high speed chicken feed might be involved here
The loader almost got washed away. I saw this when the dam was opened. Oh so neat to see. Never expected the video to be missing the starting point!
Awesome! 😃👍
That beaver will never forgive the driver
so freakin cool.
i just wish i could zoom in on the heavy equipment in the backround..still very cool ty
Aww... I was actually looking forward to watching a massive torrent of water make a lake appear in 2 minutes. Your title makes no mention that the video would be at 16x speed. Kinda misleading.
Wasn't meant to be Just thought it was cool to speed it up so you wouldn't have to watch a long time
+Paul Fletcher ... It actually is cool, don't get me wrong. Just would have been nice knowing beforehand that it was sped up.
+Paul Fletcher So what's the story here? It's the fourth video I've stumbled on tonight showing people apparently enlarging lakes and ponds! I'm curious as to what's behind it all.

There is no "Kinda" in the deception in this title.
Nice. 👍
The correct way to get rid of bath tub rings.
Yeah that excavator is runnin quadruple time
That man operating suffers from vertigo.
I wish this was lake meide I remember when it was so much higher than it is today
Me too. I miss lake Mead the way you should be so fun so beautiful and all the boats going all around the lake and people all over having so much fun
Look how fast the eq is moving like 5or 8x speed
POV:You're the guy in the exavator
That poor loader must have been so close to overheating!,,,,,,,,!
That's fast. Imagine filling up lake Mead with water all the way to the top this fast.
Paul which lake is this one? How many acres is it?
Dam the guy in the dozer is fast
That is one bad ass texas swimming pool....
Where is this? Anyone know?
awesome!
The crane in the back round must be turbo charged!
Either that took more than two minutes or I need to buy that brand of excavator that peace of equipment is fast.
me and my cursor made it happen in ten seconds! done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The excavated is going to be in trouble because the water turns his way. I saw it!
Sooo... any explanation for where the water came from so quickly? Did a dam burst upstream? What?
OH MY GOD THIS WAS 7YRS AGO- I was totally reading some of the comments thinking they're a week old at most
Your comment was 5 years ago! So what, you think we should aware you a cookie for being 2 years less late than some others?
Great video.... but I have to say I laughed at the people scurrying around so fast around the 0:40
Fastest crane operator in the world, in the background.
Oh that is funny as fuck watching that digger going ten to the dozen..... lool
fills up in two minutes huh ? taking into account the time lapse?
Great fun. Keen worker.
big pond maybe?
The paint is definitely dry now.
That was me operating the machine, it was Friday and I wanted to watch the football that afternoon
Man, Football ain't even on until Sunday... unless you have some of those channels that show Football almost constantly!
Is this Tulare Lake?
It's all good Paul, interesting nonetheless.
What's the story behind this video,...:)
Guys the description says it's speed up 16x so why the dislikes. Not like he lied. He said fills in 2mins. Not fills in 2mins realtime
Where is the water coming from?
That 360 driver can go
Am I the only one stuck on watching the loader rather than the lake lol??
Some lake.
How fast is the video being played? Looks to be at least 4x , would be 8 min not 2 . Still pretty fast! Nice video thank you.
Just watching the loader made me dizzy... how did he do it????
what lake...where...????
That Earth moving machine is high on water.. ROFL
Fastest digger driver I’ve ever seen
Sweet video
What lake? Helps if you let everyone know
Lake Mead is crying right now
wiyeeeeeeeeeeeeh
The loader guy almost got “watered out”.
In our area . We call that a pond. Lol
If you skip to the end of the video it fills up instantly.
I wish that was lake Mead
where is this?
was that The Teton Dam break I remember about that SUGAR CITY FLOODED BLACKFOOT FLOODED WILFORD
All eyes were on excavator, rather than lake))
Imagine being so good at operating an excavator that you could go at even half of this speed. Construction companies would be waving $30-40/hr+ at you.
thats it?
Im just amazed by the speed of the digger they should of done a video for him😂
Pond fills up in seconds
correction... :42 is the gobblers notch
" Lake Fills In 2 Minutes "
NEAT!
I was satisfied with the fillage. Where are the ducks?
Good use of time lapse.
