These avg package thing is waste, if you have skills you will easily get more than 15 lpa.
Also if you have graduated from tier 1 or some tier 2 colleges then you can get a good start as well with initial package of more than 10 lpa

You can attempt the JELET exam for West Bengal State for admission after a diploma or BSc. in 2nd or 1st year BE BTech courses. If you are looking for a career in IT, the software industry, or emerging technologies, like blockchain, cyber security, the internet of things, or robotics, then you should go for BTech. The brach could be CSE, IT, ECE, since you already are doing Diploma in IT.

It is not mandatory to appear for JEE Main for BTech CSE admissions. There are many national/state/university level engineering entrance examinations that you can appear for and pursue BTech in CSE.
