just saw the movie today and their chemistry was just... insane!!! to the point I hoped they were a real life couple. Their chemistry made the movie and the fact that they are amazing actors. If it wasn't for those things, it would have just been another generic teen movie.
So I saw the movie and read the book all in one day (yes I'm obsessed) and the stories from both book and movie are totally different but I liked both interpretations of the story. I feel like the movie was a little more relatable than the book. One thing I really enjoyed was the fact that the "Duff" at the end didn't get a makeover and changed who she was, she still remained the duff even though that term was meaningless to her by the end. I think this teen movie will be a classic along the line of Mean Girls, it touches subjects like cyber bullying but it is very comedic. This movie has taught me something and I hope it has for everyone else
I love hearing the fact that Mae was bullied and that other celebrities have been bullied as I was bullied for 5 years almost and I know lots of people go through it but its nice to hear it from you think would have never had experienced bullying, it makes them seem like they are just like us not celebrities

Don't get me wrong I totally love his newly fiance Italia Ricci she's my gal and even though in real life he and Mae could look like the perfect couple I still love Italia always will and Robbie he's also amazing luv him 2 but of course they also luv each other in real life as well but mostly like siblings not like there characters...... ^_^

I actually have the book. I didn't pick up bullying at all. It's more about two kids that bond over having parents that have issues. But, I guess movies based on books are getting farther and farther from the actual book.
