The kitchenette has come together nicely. I like the grout color you chose. It all ties in with the design of the offices so well. Kudo's to everyone for your hard work.
Hats off to Ryan for doing a wonderful job filming it all too.

Billy! I used to work in an art gallery/professional framing shop. I few suggestions and general information for you. You have invested quite a bit into getting the highest resolution on very good quality paper for your chateau prints. Consider purchasing archival acid free backing board (and matting) if you reframe them. At the very least, remove the paper that came with the frame! Often the paper that comes with ready made frames is NOT acid free and it will eventually discolor the art work from behind if you leave it in the frame touching the piece.
Also, plexiglass is MUCH lighter than actual glass and you may find that the frame molding itself will need to be a bit heftier and thicker in general to accommodate the extra weight if you swap out for real glass. If you wanted to keep the frames you have now, you might have to buy more expensive specialty glass that is quite thin so that the corners of the frame won't come loose from the extra load. It's a bit of a trade off. And be cautious about using anti-glare glass. It will significantly reduce the image clarity of the prints, which would seem a shame after the all the care you've taken with the high resolution of the prints themselves. I'd test it on one to see if you mind the reduction in image clarity before ordering enough non-glare glass for the lot. Hope this helps!

Ryan had such a great personality to be your Roving Videographer, Billy.
And when you are ready (& you or Michael probably already know this), museum quality glass had no glare & protects from UV light. I have only had it used 3 times in my life: for the poster-sized wedding pictures of our 2 sons & their wonderful wives, & for a small, original, one of a kind cartoon, drawn & signed for me as part of a fundraiser.
Blessings for the joy you bring to an old lady in Southern California.

Just and observations, the most common way to grout is to mix grout then let sit for 5 minutes, then remix. Application to grout lines is best with a molded rubber float, then let sit for a few minutes before water and sponging excess off. After light wash off, let dry over night and then dry rub a towel over tile and grout, it will polish up wonderfully!

Morning Billy, so much has been happening at the Convent. The clearing of the grounds, what a team. Shaun is working magic with the flooring and the grouting turned out beautiful. The Canon printer is wonderful, those prints are exquisite. A pity so many of the old chateaux's got so badly damaged and neglected. The detail is amazing and needless to say the building of those enormous walls and towers are mind blowing. It takes a long time to restore and then to refurbish the inside is not an easy task. I am sure the office will look amazing once it is all done. You have done yourself proud Billy, restoring and binging the past history of France into your daily lives. Amazing work. It all comes together with dedicated workers. It was most interesting to hear the story about the gentlemen that helped the Nuns. Go well, have a great weekend.....

Billy, I love your daily videos and I also think that Ryan has really matured and improved in his content development skills. I have always thought that the convent could be developed into a fabulous regional Hospitality Training School. With dorms on the third floor, and administration offices on one wing of the second, with a limited number of high end suites on THE second. I envision a Cooking school in the expanded kitchen. The chapel available for weddings, concerts, lectures. The rectory for conference meetings, wedding parties, etc... The gardens as an Organic Farm to Table training center with an apprentaship focused on marketing and supporting the training school perhaps a program in Per a culture design. A small Hotel management school using the higher tier suites as a training center. This could be an entire Regional Area revitalize economic engine. Horticultural school. My brain is on over drive with the possibilities. Love your determination and hard working friends and helpers. Thanks for something to look forward to every day.

Hi Billy , and co….I’ve often wondered…why don’t they make a sort of cake-icing bag affair to put the grout in and squeeze it into the gaps and then use a narrow rubber scraper to press the grout in deep?!?! Those rough surfaced tiles you have sounds like they are fighting the grouting process! ❤️🦘

The dedication to the convent restoration is heart warming. So grateful you share your journey with the world. What a unique and majestic building it is. So much history, seems appropriate to revive and reshape her to come alive in this modern world with renewed purpose. I am equally fascinated in your high resolution Château Pictures! Do you have any idea of the history of any of them? If you do, it would would be truly amazing to say while your printing and framing them to know. I wonder how many still stand today? So much history and architecture lost all over the world to wars, or the aftermath, evolution, depression ect that has shaped the running of such incredible structures. I am in awe of your team, what amazing people you have around you, truly inspiring. Make sure your not burning the candle at both ends Billy, no one could ever question your drive and work ethics. Your TH-cam contents reaches far and wide.

Glad to hear Ryan behind the camera...he does a great job with the camera when you need both hands, Billy! What an amazing crew of people you always have assembled. And I still have a soft spot for Sean (is that how he spells his name?) How do you find all these people from the UK or that speak English so impeccably? That has to make the job go smoother when you know you are on the same page when communicating such detail.
Tell Sean we love his fun T-shirts. We could send him some classic U.S. T-shirts he might like. I think he's got a brand going there with his work clothes! I have a friend in Agen France who is remodeling a chateau and she needs his flooring expertise! I dare say she's not got the most professional help....but budgeting may be part of the problem. Agen is a good distance from where the convent is, isn't it?

Do yourself a favor.. don’t use a drywall taping knife to apply the grout, use a grout float. It’s purpose is to fully push the grout into the gaps. Not just skim the top. It will make for a longer lasting application. And pay attention to the type of grout. Sanded vs. non-sanded depending on gap width. Very important

It's beautiful and I could listen to him teach me every day too!
I learnt from Yr 7 to Yr 9 and would like to recall and learn more. Love to visit France ❤

Those opening scenes of slow motion garden porn had me drooling! Nothing better than clearing out an overgrown garden! 🤣

Well I didn’t see anything wrong with the frame I would have just put it up on the wall, but you have such an eye for detail Billy 😊 Love the team cracking on with the work

Adding vinegar to the water really helps to get the grittiness off after grouting. It smells buts dries with no smell. Squeaky clean!

It was such an awesome find when you found the book of chateau prints. The Image you created on your printer is fabulous! I agree with you, it needs nonglare glass and a nice presentable frame and matting. You could make some good money selling prints!
It was great to hear the gentleman speak of his connection at the convent when he was younger. Every tidbit of history is very interesting. I also think you could put a book together of images of the convent in regards to the renos, the history, the little things you have found and what you will be putting in the convent (like the bell and statue), like a diary of your experiences taking on such a task. I don't know really, my mind just keeps coming up with "stuff". LOL 😅
Anyway the tiles are looking awesome!

@@sheilaghk6350 Indeed, but there is something nice about having a good book in our hands and enjoying the fact that the best is compiled to peruse at your leisure.

You need non-reflective glass on those frames. I had to chuckle at the “no messes”. OCD much? Keep up the great work, everyone.

Nice to see Sean, Rick and now the nice fella that used to deliver food to the Nuns and has become a friend of the family. That was a treat! Well done again Ryan!

We need t-shirts right😉 with a Pethericks logo on the front..In a thin cotton I bought the perfect type from a Ray LaMontagne concert.. not all t-shirts rate the same in my book. But Crack On the backside with a nice logo on front left side like the youtube design..Sell for $24.95 would be great..
