      I'm seriously thinking about it. I love this one. I could do a Saturday morning stitch with me maybe? I was thinking about trying to do a livestream but still quite new to all this so not even sure if I have the technology to do it tbh! But I could definitely look into it...

      Hi, I've started doing a weekly stitch with me with this one every Saturday morning. For the next 10 weeks anyway and we'll see how things go after that.

    I really like your videos. Thanks for sharing your experiences and thoughts. I have a mere couple of stamped kits, none anywhere close to this big mind you. My own rule of thumb is that I only contemplate doing what I have already seen finished. I just couldn't justify the time, otherwise. Surprisingly amazon, facebook and other places, people do post a lot of finally finished designs.

    I stitch my 11-count stamped kits with six strands tent stitch that way you don't have to separate the strands and it looks just as good... I also like to stitch from the front.

      I've never really tried tent stitch on 11ct, do you see any gaps in between the stitches?

      @@malaquitastitches No. If anything it's thicker...

      I always do tent stitch with my 25ct and 28ct projects, I might try it soon then on one of my 11ct projects just to see what I think. Thanks for the idea 😀

    I am thinking with this size it may be like Diamond Art. It has to be looked at from a distance, viewing distance. That way your eyes will fill in any pixilation that might be needed. I cross stitched many years ago. I want to pick it back up but now I need stamped cross stitch. After 2 strokes, numbers have an issue with me, so counting is out. I believe I could follow a colour chart. I am willing to try. I need another craft besides diamond painting. I like it but getting a bit bored.

      Definitely give it a try. You can get much smaller stamped kits as well, why don't you get one of the small ones to see how you get on? Some of them are quite cute. Good luck, hope you can get back to it and enjoy it.

    The 2 things I don't like about most of these is that there is too much confetti and the thread always ends up looking very fuzzy. The rough canvas plus the cheap thread does not provide a good look.

    With something that big, how would you put it on the frame? Alot of it would have to be rolled up wouldn't it?

    • @malaquitastitches
      @malaquitastitches  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, I have one in progress just now, and that's what I've had to do, I roll it all up around the edges and put bulldog clips on the rolls to keep them closed. That's part of the reason why I got the smaller version. It would've been a lot more difficult to work with it if it was even bigger. There's 2 other options - one is to just use a normal embroidery hoop, and leave the rest of it as it is or even folded up, but then you'd have to hold the hoop in one hand and stitch with the other hand, which can get quite tiring and is more time consuming. And the other option is to do stitching in hand, without a frame or hoop. I've tried it before and find it quite difficult to do, but I've seen some videos where people make it look easy, so there must be a knack to it that I just haven't managed to get yet. Actually looking forward to starting this one, I might start it tonight!

    I wasn't keen on your review of this project. After watching it to the end I felt like why waste my time doing it because I won't like it at the finish. Was there anything positive that you could have said to entice me to buy it. You turned me off even wanting to attempt doing it. I realize this is your opinion but I was disappointed in the continual negativity and the knit picking throughout, but then again this is only my opinion of your review.

      @malaquitastitches  ปีที่แล้ว

      Fair play. I appreciate your honest opinion. All constructive feedback is welcome. I will point out though that unlike a lot of youtube reviews for different types of things, I don't try to sell things as I'm not here for free advertisement purposes. All of my reviews will always be my honest opinions, even if they might come across as negative sometimes. I'm not trying to sell things on this channel or give overly positive opinions of things just to get freebies like a lot of youtubers do. I aim to give the good with the bad. I will always be honest in my reviews on here.

      Hi, sorry I got it ages ago, I know its quite difficult to find things on that website, I'll have a look and see if I can find a link for it

      Hi, I use the Ali Express app when I order from them, I tried to find a way to get a link for the product but I can't see a way to do that. It's from qianzehui store though and the description is DIY garden cottage dream home landscape full embroidery cross stitch, wall home decro. Hope that makes it a bit easier to find. If not, just click on that actual store and click a similar type of kit, and you'll probably see it at the bottom of the page where they suggest other things you might like. It's one of their most popular kits I think so it should be easy enough to find in their store
