Very good review overall. Would like to see you drive and comment on noise and general comfort, etc. Much more informative than most, some repetition. Your on the right track. Thanks, I would recommend to anyone interested in this car.
I had 2 Pathfinders. There were at seperate timers. I had a '94 Pathfinder back in 2000. That drove like a truck. Had a '97, that I got rid of almost 2 years ago. I miss both of them. I now have a Sentra.
Thanks for the review. However, while shooting the video, I think you were using a 2014 Platinum 4WD model instead of an actual 2015 model. The 2015 Platinum model adds safety features like blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning. Additionally, in the 4WD model, you will see a Downhill Assist Control bottom on the drive selector. I agree that Nissan should start giving projector head-lights and daytime running lights on the Pathfinder. Also, offering forward collision intervention and or warning, radar cruise control and a better infotainment system will help be the best feature packed crossover in the segment.
Recommend manipulating the 3rd row seat open and stowed to show ease of doing it. That is one of the first things we look for in 3rd row crossovers. I also recommend discussing head room in all rows. Good job on discussing leg room in all rows (very important).
2015 pathfinder platinum, after 4 months and only 3500 miles the windshield cracked! No damage caused by roadside hazards. Had it parked in garage overnight, next day a 12" crack that started from center bottom and proceeded to travel up drivers side. Nissan tried to blame it on road hazard, how did it crack from the inside? Pathfinder has been sitting at dealership for 6 days (after they admitted, must be default ). Hate driving the Sentra they offered as a loaner, pos. How long will my SUV sit there as I drive a 14000 pos car? If you pay for premium, you should expect the same. They wanted me to claim insurance to make it easier on them. No way, broken from inside - an obvious defect from factory. Hoping my new Altima doesn't have the same problem. Today I heard "settling" noises at a red light. Sure hope the windshield in this vehicle doesn't spontaneous explode.
DON'T BUY! I just had my 2007 Nissan Pathfinder fixed . My radiator cracked and leaked into the transmission causing the transmission to break. I took it to Star Nissan mechanics and fixed it, I paid $3700 for a remanufactured transmission and a radiator. I have 98.000 miles. Nissan did not cover anything, or send any note to my house. I will never buy a Nissan again. Everyone is having the same problem, look it up.
***** every year had that problem look it up. I owned 4 Nissan pathfinders back to back, and just because of that, I will never trust Nissan Pathfinder,or any kind of Nissan car ever again. I'm done.
Horrible, just so lame. Looks like a standard mini van without the sliding doors. Way over priced and extremely ugly looking. Who designs these new vehicles...??
