Feeling very nostalgic lately, and I find the VHS effect really matches what the atmosphere I would like the song to be in. I also have a colored lightbulb above the piano. Playing under this violet color... it's really calming.
I will be uploading more of anime songs that I have missed in the past, songs that I currently resonate to the most. Ideally I'd be uploading every week, but life isn't that straightforward. I have a hard time compartmentalizing work and personal life in general. They just kinda meld together. It's good in a sense that I'm very emotionally sincere in what I do, but at times it can be damaging to work ethic. Also I'm just really beat up in general. Worn out.
That's just how it is I suppose. But for those who still enjoy my arrangements, I'm playing for you and for you only. No matter how much or how little views, I only play for those who want to listen. There are many anime pianists who cover the latest, and cover it very well. It's time for me to dive deeper into songs that I cherish the most. Not for views, not for subscribers, not for money, but for myself and for those who want to join me.

@@danish8118 I've done double that but been practicing animenz and theishters' for 4 years, it still doesn't come naturally I have to practice every unique form in each arrangement haha. Don't be discouraged, to even be playing these arrangements after 5 years is very impressive.

I very rarely comment and/or like a video on TH-cam, but I'm doing both because this video deserves it. This song has a really special place in my heart for me. This is the song I played, at full blast in my car, to say goodbye to my grandpa 3 years ago. It felt so fitting because I was celebrating his life, but at the same time being so fucking devastated I would never be able to see him again.
This cover made me shed a tear in remembrance of him. Thank you Theishter.

Music has become a business, which for me is a little sad, but also wonderful; because it allows people to follow their passion for music to the fullest extent. Most who walk that path will have to follow the rues of a business at least to a certain extent, and I fully understand that.
But when listening to your arrangements, or to musicians who really do what they do because of their love for the music itself...I think it really shows. I can listen to a lot of commercial musicians, those who just put out songs/covers for the sake of providing content, and I can say "Yeah, thats pretty good. It is objectively well written and flawlessly performed". But then I listen to your music, and I notice that I´m crying. For some reason I can´t explain it makes me cry, makes me jump for joy, makes me feel regret, makes me feel grateful, makes me FEEL. So please: Stay just the way you are! I don´t need hundreds of uploads because I can listen to these hundreds of times! Listening to your arrangements isn´t something to be taken for granted, it is a gift.

I really love the way you express your music and the path you take when it comes to covering anime songs. I hate to say this but the community and youtube rewards whoever covers it first and well of course. I work full time and play piano for fun but the pressure to upload the video the quickest is real because if you don't... then you probably dont get that much exposure and I hate it because all the hard work and nobody can really appreciate it. To be completely honest, Theister is the person who made me really want to learn piano. I've always loved music and I've been interested in playing a piano cause it's the best choice for someone who wants to play alone but wants more than just a melody. Your covers are what turned that from interest to desire. I don't think "it'd be cool to play piano like that" anymore. I think "I want to play piano like that" and I think it every day. Man, not to be rude, but i used to think of you as a not-quite-as-good-as-animenz kinda youtuber. Then you started doing these songs that clearly mean something to you, like Hanezeve Caradhina, and this.
My god, was I silly. You two aren't people that should be compared to see who's better, but to be admired that you are both so skilled. There's clear passion here, and its amazing. I am easily moved by music. This song caused an odd phenomenon with my mind. During my late high school years, I struggled to accept the present because I missed being a kid on account of having to grow up too soon to adapt to an ever-changing world. I missed watching SW The Clone Wars every morning before school, and watching LEGO Ninjago when I got home. I missed the 2013 life of a child. I missed my now long-gone friends I considered brothers. The realization that I could never go back caused a deep depression in me. I could only cope through music. When I discovered this song, it was perfect to describe how I felt. I felt I was saying goodbye to my old world. I listened to this song a few times, and the strangest thing occured through my mind. All ill thoughts about the present and my wishes to go back disappeared... I had finally moved on. And to me that's beautiful...

I've listening to this song for a quite long. In my mind such change yet so familiar arrangement just not exist. Now i have found a masterpiece. It traspass all my expectations and literally every note, every chord, every hand movement gave me chills. One of my favorite songs just become more favorite (if that even makes sense)

I'm so glad you are still here. Still playing for your audience. I remember the post where you said you were going to take an indefinite break and it almost broke my heart thinking that you may not be sharing your beautiful talent with the world for a while. It was a selfish thought but at the same time I also take breaks from my audience on Twitch and YouNow, but I keep coming back because I love all of the people in my piano streams. It gave me some perspective as a viewer instead of as a performer, I realized what it's like as an avid viewer hoping to god that one of my favorite pianists is OK and that everything will turn out alright.
