I watched this message and many others by Dr Sumrall so many times without getting enough of his preaching. He stuck to the truth until the end, what an apostle of Christ he was?
I didn’t know Dr. Sumerall ministered in Haiti. Wow!!!! What a blessing. That’s where I’m from, I love his ministry, I’ve learned so much from Dr. Sumerall teachings, such a blessing to the body of Christ. I always would say to myself I wish dr. Sumerall would have gone to Haiti, because I love how God use him. Sometimes we’re asking God for something, and He already gave it to us. God doesn’t leave nobody out. What a great honor to hear man of God like this preach the gospel. Bless are the feet of those that preach the gospel. The steps of the righteous are ordered of the Lord.
What a wonderful experience ....this service took place a month or so before i rededicated my life to Christ after running many years,then i would encounter Rod Parsley in April 1996,and attend World Harvest Bible College in 2001-2002.....I am so honored to be connected spiritually to this great pioneer of faith!!!!
Thank you for posting this. I came to this video specifically because he was speaking on The Pioneers of Faith (my grandfather being one of them) but what a blessing it was to continue on and listen how God moved in his life early on. Bless you.
I am really working through to the truth.. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth..", on that I am convinced... wea are sealed by the Holy Spirit on the day of our salvation & if any man be in Christ then Christ is in him, amen.. but baptized with the Holy Spirit & tongues & miracles..? I am looking for the truth! Seek ye 1st the Kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you.. I watched Dr Sumrall when I was a youngster. I had heard of Wigglesworth & started on a truth journey & revisited Sumrall. He mentioned Smith & his miracles & that "in the last days I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh..." amen to that.. but the truth about the baptism of the Holy Spirit?.. I want the truth! I watched this video of Dr Sumrall and he took up an offering for 'feed the children' then spent the next 40 minutes talking about a book he wrote about strange miracles & other men. I don't want stories, I want the truth! not to mention he stumps for the heretic Benny Hinn at the close of his remarks. I guess I will get the truth elsewhere
It always amazes me how a Man of God like Lester sumeral endorsed Rod parsely. They are very different and the focus of their ministries and very different as well.
Remember L.S., was an obedient man of God. As he himself had been mentored by others- He didn’t question God when the Lord placed it on his heart to mentor Rod Parsley. By raising him up in the faith like a son. To God Be the Glory~
