Thanks for the video. Wife and I are looking for a luxury camp for late 2024. One question.....was it safe to walk to the main lodge from your room at night? Or did you require an escort? Seems very open to the wild!!
Hey Daren and Johnetta, yes, the walk from the room to the reception and dinner area is indeed very open to the wild. Hippos usually become active at night, and with many active trails through the resort, it can be unsafe to venture out at night. The staff recommends staying indoors at night to avoid any unnecessary animal encounters. However, if you want to visit the reception area for dinner or a quick drink, or any other purpose, you can call the reception area from your room, and the staff will arrange for an escort.
