Just a couple notes, nothing story changing:
When Bulma mentioned stopping Gero with the Dragon Balls Vegeta actually threatened them, as stopping Gero that way would hurt his pride at which point Goku and the rest agreed.
Bulma was flabbergasted 🤦♀️🤷♀️
This translation about it taking ages to find the balls make no sense. In the first volume of the story kid Goku and Bulma found them during Bulma's summer break. That's when they couldn't fly. Now everyone can break the sound barrier and move at lightspeed.

I do think that it makes sense that Goku said it wouldn't be right to find Dr. Gero and try to kill him when he hasn't done anything yet. That would be like senseless murder lmao.
Also, I would like to note how people say Goku was a jerk to his family for staying away for a year in another planet and did not come back when there was an opportunity with Porunga. But, as seen here and as mentioned while Goku was talking with Trunks, he couldn't control his strength and his super Saiyan form because it happens spontaneously. Anyway, it wasn't shown but aside from learning instant transmission, Goku stayed away to master his super Saiyan form too.
