I like the genshin sibling plot (I play Lumine but I think canon is that Aether is the mc), but I'm glad it's gonna be reminiscent of HSR where your just whatever mc you are. I'm pretty sure HSR isn't a sibling thing anyway lol. And that's nice! Bc as much as I like the siblings in GI, I got really sick quick of being told I picked the wrong sibling technically when I started in 2021. 😮💨 so. I'm glad to just having it be one mc and it's just player preference.

This game NEEDS to succeed man. If genshin feels pressure from another open world gacha competitor, they might start making changes to Genshin. And if they don’t? Then more power to WW. 😂
Im going to be honest with you if WW its going to be good and after that Genshin will make changes , me for example i wont go back to that game . I think people should have the same position on this since after 3 years they gave us a single thing to do as end game , just lame if you ask me .
Wuthering waves looks good but my only issue is that it might not release everywhere like what PGR did and if you are the unlucky ones the you are stuck with genshin.
Mihoyo’s is just laziness. Both siblings are the canon MC, as their live streams, promotional material ( except for the story teasers ) and even customer service say that. Even the HUD changes based on the sibling you chose. The issue stems from fans that used the “Manga - Anime” logic to say that, since Aether appeared on the Manga, he’s the canon one, even though the Manga is not canon to the game at worst or is secondary canon at best. At least Wuthering Waves made the effort to make it clear.
