    I used to have the F9 a few years ago but it never suited me very well, so I recently decided to give the RadSpeed a shot, and man was it a game changer, was able to get 260 yards with a straighter ball flight (with a RDX blue x flex shaft considering that my swing speeds didn't fit that particular shaft). Also decided to get the 3 wood with the same shaft and also yielded great results. Added a RadSpeed Draw 7 wood as my 4 iron replacement for bad lies and it works like a charm. Like he says, try it out first before you buy it (perhaps the new LTD line up might be a better fit for you).. Cobra has definitely brought its A game as of late.

    I've found quite a few shafts that are labelled lower launching to actually launch higher but reduce spin at the same time ...interesting!

    This is probably the most user friendly review since you are using the stock shaft available.

    Don't have club fitting in my neck of the woods or a way to try all 3 shafts. What would be the default one?

    Impressive that Cobra includes the Motore X shafts as stock offerings, these are £220 aftermarket shafts.

    you only reviewed 3 out of the 4. The one I wanted to see data for, Riptide CB, you did not test. Why?

    Would you recommend the standard version for a higher handicap in the tour length shaft? Obviously lofted up with the heavy weight moved to the back.

    just waiting for my Rad Speed with the Motor F3 to show up! Very timely video, thanks for the content! I also ordered the club head weight kit, so hoping I can dial in the unit to fit my swing
    "just right"

    The fact that a number of the manufacturers are offering the Matore F3 & F1 shafts as stock is amazing - and I think that is the real RDX Blue shaft, which if true, is also unreal.

      Cobra doesn't do made for shafts anymore. Also, project x says they dont do made for shafts so anyone offering the hzrdus this year are real deal.

    MiKe..picked up a new( ish ) Radpseed XB for £175 with the Hazardus Blue RDX Smoke …I am reasonable ball speed ..( 3 handicap) low launcher type of player ..do you reckon this will work for me …Cheers Lee

      I have the RadSpeed standard with an x flex RDX Blue, I'm a mid handicap and my misses are generally to the right as a right hand player, but this driver was probably the most accurate out of all of them that I have tried, I generally have a club head speed of about 100 mph and the driver felt great

  • @47speedemon
    @47speedemon 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Would you say that a swing speed of around 100mph would suit the f3 better

    • @hawksterzzz
      @hawksterzzz 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      i have a similar swing speed and I felt the best with the RDX (but I felt the best with an x flex for some reason)

    • @briancoutts4602
      @briancoutts4602 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on launch I swing about 100 and F1 worked better for me due to steep transition and high spin rates this brought me inline with normal spin rates all of it depends on spin launch etc I tried all 3 went with f1 go it used for 80 bucks with cobra adapter

  • @rossmurray245

    Just put the RDX black in my TS2, picked up 8mph ball speed over the Tensei Blue that I got fitted into, I actually got fitted too soon after major heart surgery and my club speed is back up to 110mph now so it wasn’t the fitters fault the shaft just wasn’t a good fit anymore , at that speed I couldn’t square the face with the Tensei

  • @chachifeere
    @chachifeere 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    the rdx say low spin low launch on ther website but cobra says low/mid

    I’ve just got this driver with the Evenflow riptide (not CB) 50g and it just helps me get the ball up in the air as that’s my struggle with the driver that combination of the rad speed with the riptide 6.0 50g is an absolute bomber for me averaging over 300 yards total about 285/290 Cary

  • @darrenbell6376
    @darrenbell6376 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Mike i dropped from from the hzrdus smoke in the ts3 to the tensei blue raw 55 in my new tsi3 and difference is chalk and cheese. The tensei is lighter and gives me more club speed and is also much more accurate with a tighter dispersion. It's a killer shaft for my game and feels lively unlike my old smoke which was stout and firm

  • @M82RKY
    @M82RKY 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I get too much launch using the Tensei Blue stiff in my SZ 10.5 so just had a Hzrdus Smoke Black 60g fitted and dropped the setting to 9.5D to get the launch lower, I have this in my TS3 3 wood and can't miss a fairway with it so hoping my SZ shows the same characteristics with the Hzrdus.

    Please test the light/long shaft option as well. Plenty of buzz out there for the Autoflex shaft and some experts claim going longer, one flex lower, and lighter could simulate the properties of the Autoflex shaft.

    Your timing is perfect! Unfortunately I only have 2 local pro shops with Cobra test kits and they only have 2 of the heads and 2 of the shafts (not multiple weights or stiffness). Thanks for this

    Question for you. I will be testing different shafts for the Cobra RadSpeed driver. When I do the testing, should I have the heavier weight in the back or the front or both?
