Calvary of Tampa/Bibleline is 100% correct when it comes to rightly dividing the Word of God! This is the most solid church/ministry I have ever had the pleasure of finding! I only wish I lived in Tampa!!! It's like finding a needle in a haystack! I'm so thankful that the Lord led me to you about 2 years ago! Thank you, thank you, thank you! When I become discouraged about the many apostate churches around me, this ministry is the bright light that helps me push onward... because you ALWAYS speak TRUTH!!!🙏🏻
I pray i can find a church like this. Gives me so much strength and hope. Theres no condemnation! The holy spirit lead me to this channel. I'm confident in this.
Thank you for your teachings! I have been earnestly seeking and asking God to show me truth and to keep me from being deceived. He then led me to your channel and ministry. I’m forever grateful! You are teaching so clearly! I now understand the Gospel and have fully put my faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ for my sins and not in my works. I was born and raised in Seventh-Day Adventism which is all about following the law of the 10 commandments especially keeping the 7th day as the sabbath. I came out of that false religion when I was 19, but I am now 38. God has been so patient and merciful with me. I fully put my faith in Jesus this past September but was falling into the teachings of Lordship Salvation which was making me feel hopeless. That is when God led me to you. Thank you for teaching about what false doctrine is and holding it up to what the Bible says! ❤
I can understand how there will be, a great falling away. To many fake teachings. Keep at it brother, people need to hear you. Thank you for this message.
Amen, thank you and God be praised for the truth from his word being clearly taught. We need this taught in our churches, assembly of believers today not this other twisted, perverted teaching being taught in alot of churches. God bless you brother.
I'm absolutely loving this channel! There has been so much Calvanism and other garbage sprinkled into most, maybe all, Baptist churches these days. It's hard to find a church that believes in faith alone in Christ alone! I feel like I'm hanging out with family when I'm watching these videos.
What is Calvinism answer for the faith of Lot. I understand that Lot is stated to be righteous man 2 Peter 2:7-8 . We are so fortunate that we have such learned pastors being produced by reformed seminaries. A theology that now can correct the Apostle Peter. Thank God for Pastor Jessie Martinez Pastor Thomas Cucuzza Pastor J. B. Hixson of Not By Works Ministries. and all who promote FREE GRACE Theology and help those so confused and hurt by the FALSE GOSPEL OF CALVINISM
I’m having trouble finding a church that doesn’t backload, doesn’t preach Lordship, or doesn’t preach repent of sin. I’ll win the lottery before I do I think.
Ugh… sorry about that Dylan. If you email us at questions@biblelineministries.org with this, we can give you our list of clear churches we have found. Some areas are tough, but it may exist! - Trent
Love the messages here and the videos you produce, it’s really helped in healing my perception of my life before Jesus and what saves me. The faith alone but faith is never alone stuff really scared me. Paul Washer was basically a boogie man to me after his “shocking youth message” I was never sure after that. I am now. My question is about the passage in John 2 - can you clarify why they believed but he did not give him self to them? You skimmed it but I misunderstood.
When you get someone that questions if they believe enough you need to explain to them that the reason they don’t have assurance of salvation is because their faith isn’t in Christ, his shed blood, resurrection and the promise of God. Their faith is in their ability to believe enough which in essence is a work because it places the burden for justification on their ability to believe enough for God to accept them. If we base salvation on our ability to do something whether it’s believing enough or keeping sacraments we will always fall short. I would dare to say that someone who is worried they don’t believe enough to be saved probably isn’t saved because their faith is in their ability to do something well enough for God to accept them.
Well great...as if I need more to worry about. Here I am, trying my hardest to believe and rest in what Jesus has done for me, but also having always been an extremely paranoid and fearful person, and then I read things like this. Thanks. I feel very comforted now. Hard to believe the folks at Bibleline hearted this message. So what should I do then? Huh? Shall I cry out to God like Paul Washer says? Shall I scream and weep and beg until I 'feel' saved? Tell me what I must do since you so clearly believe you have done it so well and that since I have not I am probably not saved. I hope you'll forgive the frustration and understand where I'm coming from. It's only eternity we're talking about, and I could end (thanks youtube) literally any day.
@@ArcLightShock37 Belive on the Lord Jesus Christ. That’s what you must do to be saved. The scripture doesn’t say try your hardest to believe and rest in Christ. It says to believe. When you sit in a chair, you do so because you believe the chair will hold you up and do its job which is to support you while you sit. You don’t spend time before sitting obsessing over whether or not the chair can or will support you, you don’t say to yourself “I’m trying my hardest to believe this chair will support me” and you don’t spend the entire time sitting in the chair wondering if it is actually supporting you or whether or not it’s going to stop. Same thing goes for believing in Christ. You either believe what God said or you don’t, there is no middle ground. If you’re paranoid and fearful about your salvation it’s for one of two reasons: 1. You’re basing your salvation on yourself( ability to believe enough, producing works, etc. Or 2. You don’t believe what God said. To believe on Jesus Christ but not be sure of salvation is to call God a liar. God promised eternal life to all those that believe. Again you either believe God or you don’t, there is no middle ground. To believe on Jesus Christ but not be sure you have eternal life is to say God is not true because God explicitly promises eternal life to all those who believe. I certainly hope and pray you come to the place where you can let go of all your fear and paranoia and simply rest in the blessed assurance of salvation that is in Jesus Christ and promised by God the father to all who believe. Again, you either believe what God said or you don’t.
@Otaku00072 Like I said, I've always been very fearful and paranoid. You start bringing eternity into it, that's pretty heavy stuff. I know he can, but I was raised in a 'christian' family and in 'christian' schools and went to a lot of church and ALL of it was 'turn or burn' type stuff. That stuff has been drilled into me since I was a very, very small kid. No matter how much I intellectually acknowledge that I can't save myself but that Jesus is able, I cannot help the fear that maybe I've got it wrong no matter how much I read the Bible, watch videos like this, etc.
No! No! No! Even Demons believe. Even Satan and Demons and all the world is going to bow down to Christ and call him Holy, Holy,Holy! Ok, I am only kidding, but some actually try and twist it to confuse! Thank you for being so articulate with Scriptures making it easy to understand! ❤ Bless everyone!
I watched it. No, big red flags. He has some things right, but he confuses repentance definitionally. He has a sort of backloaded works gospel message. We’ll do a react to that one for sure. - Trent
There is a slight historical error here. John Calvin defined fiducia as confidence instead of as faithfulness. John Calvin denied that ”turning from sin” is in the gospel. R.T Kendall wrote extensively on the fact rhat Reformed theology came more from Beza than Calvin.
Faith and adjectives. For God so loved the World that he sort of, kind of, selectively, half way, etc., etc., etc., With the subjective adjectives that reformed theology attaches to Faith, we would need to rewrite the Bible. Spurious faith, et al., is never quantified.
A vow in scripture is more of a promise to God that you do intend to fulfill _____ (fill in the blank). This could be filled with a commandment. - Trent
Calvinists doctrine says God is tricking us. And, He hates people. And, He is manipulative. And, He is a respecter of persons. Run away from Calvinism!
The flesh will NEVER improve --- so we can't expect anything but sin from our flesh. It's being partakers of the divine nature in the Christian THAT NEVER sins. When God looks at us HE sees Christ --- not the flesh. We get discouraged when we look at ourselves
Jesse, You keep saying "It's dangerous to believe _____ ." If you believe that Jesus' death paid for your sins then how could believing anything else in addition to that fact possibly be 'dangerous' in any way? What about those who are willing to be wrong for Jesus' sake? Remember Galatians 5:15, my friend.
Believing you have to have works to be saved is not the Gospel. If you believe that, you don't believe the Gospel, which means you believe in ANOTHER Jesus. You can't be saved if you don't believe the Gospel.
