Good point you watch this joker sing and some of the times his mouth isn't even near the mic. Like @ 1:50 or so... he pulls the mic away and still magically sings. Although on second listen it may have been Tom singing at that moment... I'm sure the Rascal Flatts version made Tom a shit ton of money.
@@FromTheRightAngle Exactly, there is no change in sound no matter how close he is to the microphone. Not that I really care if he is lip syncing, I get it, he is old, its hard, but it’s sad when you read comments about him being a Canadian legend, yet he is lip syncing.
@@ConnorSavage1that’s post production for ya. Vocal Volume changes can be eliminated and fixed in post production. This is all 100% Live, it’s just got some post production going on. Slight tuning, volume, band mix, ect, there’s amateur footage floating around social media that can give you a general idea how it really sounded. (It honestly doesn’t sound that much different)
Where's my generation that grew up on this version through the CARS Movie?? I know you're here somewhere!

I was there and Live it was absolutely amazing!
Unreal stuff. Some Canadian legends all around.
Mack: California here we come!
Lightning McQueen: Dinoco here we come
At my school percussion recital I did this as a drum set solo
Tom Cochrane was Invited by Gary LeVox on Stage?!
Tom's vocals sound better singing this song. Dude from Rascals Flats just needs to retire and not sing this song. 🤦♀️
This almost sounds too good. Somethings going on here, its auto tune, or a pre recording. Not sure.

It does sound too good. I noticed when he moved the microphone away. I sure hope it’s live. Sounds so good.
