Blocking in the open field is one of the hardest things to do in football. A couple tips: 1) chop your feet when you get close to him so he doesn’t overrun you 2) square ur shoulders with his 3) keep him within ur frame (you can side step so he you aren’t having to hold him)

Yo Eli your the best bro! Your getting a lot better. The advice that your coach gave you is awesome! Your thinking too much about what your doing. Obviously your trying to impress your coach but you gotta stop thinking so much about it. Just focus on running the route that's shown and getting the ball if it's thrown to you. Your running back also gave great advice. It's really important that your hands follow the ball wherever it goes. Try to make that little diamond shape with your hands and watch the ball into your hands the entire time. Don't worry about the players around you. Just focus on following the ball with your hands. Also keep running when you catch the ball. Don't stop. Just be confident in everything that you do and keep grinding everyday!

Eli you probably already know this but a tip for defending: when a opposing player is running up and you’re defending him they’re obviously gonna try to juke you so if you have your eyes on their eyes when they juke you will get thrown off but if you keep your eyes on their hips when they juke you will be able to stay on them easier and make a tackle

When you’re playing in a game or in practice never shy away from contact such as when you’re blocking run straight through your opponent like they don’t even exist. Just trying to help you a bit. Recommendation ( I play DE) I would recommend working on explosion when ur firing off the ball because when I watched the video you seemed an it delayed, also chopping you feet when your about to make a block. Also when u block, grab the inside of their pads and just run I promise you don’t really have to know what ur doing to block as long as u grip their pads.
Yo my man eli a bit of tips i used to play wideout and qb but for wideouts u have to be confident in your ability to catch the ball and keep that momentum up and also try not to think so hard about am i gonna catch it or drop it think more of like when i do catch it how much burst of speed and where to cut and on the line inorder to not get jammed up so much u could work on footwork or swatting there hands away and shirt your hips too and for blocking try to jam yourself into there chest but not as a tackle more of like a hug but keep your hands tucked in and keep ypur feet planted your doing geat bro keep it up
