I use the Labella Gold White Nylons on my fretless and love them. I noticed they also do Copper White's in addition to the regular white and blacks. It would be cool to do a video that compares all 4. This is a great though and while it's subtle, I think the blacks seem just a little bit warmer. I might try getting a set of too based on this
oh man that was just beautifull and really helpfull! i have a question tho, whats the EQ on your amp and knob setting on you bass? it would really help me thank!

Been wondering about the whites. I’ve always loved the blacks. Recently posted a vid comparing them to regular labella flats. The whites and blacks sound pretty close... Used to have a similar Veilette fretless. Great basses and you play it quite nicely.
Thanks! Very helpful! And well played. How would you rate the string tension compared to normal (flat or round) strings? I prefer the Black. Somehow they sound more like "one" sound, while in the whites there seem to be those somewhat detached high frequencies while the lower portions sound less defined.
Thank you for your comment. The original tension of black is quite loose. White has a little more tension than that. As you said, the white had a slightly solid tone with a roundwound tone mixed in.
Great comparision, very useful :) The white ones has more irritating midrange noise, the blacks are dark sounding. I think I'ill stick to the round wounds to get the Jaco type of sound. R.i.p.
I hear literally no difference. Playing was good but, it's the same sound. Maybe they feel different, or have different tension and smoothness, but tonally it;s the same thing twice.
You are singing ❤️ I was debating it but I am buying the black tapes immediately! This was so helpful
Thank you! I also love black nylon

Labella Deep talkin' bass black nylon.

@@Kenji-Takeda cool, thanks for the information! : ) And: Do you know if your black nylon are .050 or .060 gauge? I think they are produced in both..
