    I only watched the first 10 minutes, but I wanted to point out 3 errors.
    The first one is obvious, but the other two might be important if you're a beginner who can't read Japanese and is using this video to learn:
    2:47 English audio says "door" instead or "backyard".
    4:43 Japanese audio says ヒール (Heel) instead of ビール (Beer).
    9:10 To me, at least, it sounds like the Japanese audio says 根っこ (Nekko) instead of 猫 (Neko).

      I watched none of it really but want to point out the biggest error which is the pretty lady on thumbnail was nowhere to be found - just a blackboard...

    With "alcohol", is it more common to use "Arukoru" than "Osake", or is Osake only in reference to sake itself?

    • @Senseman
      @Senseman 5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      "Osake" is for alcohol in general; what English speakers call "sake" is normally referred to as "Nihonshu" in Japan. Source: Me, who's had a few cups of nihonshu in an izakaya or two.

    • @Paulmnl
      @Paulmnl 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Alcohol sections in Konbinis have written signs saying "Kore wa osake desu". Though i'm not sure which ones more common to use.

    A friend of mine sent me this link with the qestion - at 1:07:54 the Kanji for year is displayed, with the romaji toshi under it. But the pronunciation is nen. Both nen and toshi are readings for this kanji, and both mean year but it was very confusing for my friend to see it written as toshi but pronounced totally different.

    Good! But where and how to use katakan , hiragana and kanji pls details me🙏

    • @rcu007
      @rcu007 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Katakana is used for foreign words only (with very few exceptions).
      Hiragana is mostly used by children learning to write and beginners. For example, in video games for kids like Pokemon, the entire game is written in hiragana.
      Kanji is used normally in the language. Kanji is just the correct way to write in Japanese, while hiragana is the phonetic way (while you learn the kanji).

    How can I believe in this video when you say bathroom is bathurumu??? It totally is not. If you mean the place where you "relieve yourself", it's called toe-E-le (toire) and if you mean the place where you bathe, it's called furoba. Never is it bathurumu. IT's WRONG to teach people Americanized stuff because "it's good enough" or "people will know what you're talking about". It's not hard to say the real words and for sure they will understand their own language.
