@chong I think the reason Sunset and Sci-Twi cried is because they regret what they did, and the darkness consumed their minds, so they just couldn’t remember what they did, and decided to rule Equestria.

In season 6 they really focused on her learning that magic can’t always fix everything (probably why the final was about defeating the changelings without any magic). But with or without magic. She’s powerful. I mean it was proven that her magic is as strong as twilight. And she was able to blast a blast that was almost as big as twilight’s when she fought tirek , and that’s without alicorn magic. But that’s your opinion sooo. Btw i love these kind of videoss. Keep up the good work!
Yeah i think her magic is even stronger than Twilight's ! (but then again, i really dislike Twilight, so i won't go too deep into that xD ) As you said it is a good thing that they show how magic can't fix everything, that's the best part of her redemption arc in my opinion, but don't really like the personnality they gave her. I think it's because i compare her too much to Sunset (who is my favorite Equestria Girl, so i'm very biased xD ), but i feel like Starlight doesn't really realize the enormous gravity of her actions, and the others don't really realize it either since they just forgive her way too quickly. This is fascinating Because See, Almost all of the villians ever defeated in MLP Equestria girls have certain things that turn them evil. For example:Gloriosa Daisy (Gaea Everfree) turned into a Villian Because Of the magic crystals.Also Sunset, Twilight And More. And These magics are coming from the broken portal that leads to Equestria. My theory is that soon, Equestria Will Be drained of it's magics because of so much magic escaping. because the villians get their power from magic,One that only exists in Equestria.
Yes !! Especially at the end of Legend of Everfree we see how the magic is escaping from the portal (but for some reasons it hasn't been really brought up again ?), many think that it is all because of Sunset bringing the crown to EQG, but in my opinion it all started when Star Swirl banished the Sirens to EQG
