Thanks Sir. I feel that out of the hundreds of poets we have (~796 names in my database), we know and respect only a handful. People need to be aware of the rest and the best way to do that is to not let these lyrics remain as mere words in a printed book. At least a few people will get to know of how wonderful songs we have in our repertoire.

Very nice again. But have you uploaded a version which is slightly on faster mode? Singing sounds a little too quick, breathless. But thanks for uploading a lesser known song about the chandana jatra

This faster version is what they used to sing in the 1920s-1930s. Listen to Banikantha Nimai Charan Harichandan's rendition of 'Dhire Ghena Kananare'. Balakrushna Sir slowed it down like he did with most songs. This is almost the pace that they use in Chandana Jatra, since a slow song is good only for a sitting crowd, not a jovial, active procession. :D
