Great climbing saw never lets me down only issue I ever had in 5 years was on and off switch. 14” bar on mine . Works 6 days a week . Retired my Stihl 200t and Husqvarna T 540 . T 435 is the smoothest balanced small saw I’ve ever ran making for much Less fatigue during a long day .

Good review, nice not missing the oil adjuster. Be careful your dealer doesn't set the oiler to Max. That way when you go to increase it you don't brake the tiny set screw, Like I did.

One thing they also don't show on these new climbing saws is that in order to adjust the oiler you have to push down on the screw and twist at the same time to increase the oil output. Mine was not putting out oil and thought it was maxed out and broke my screw but then found out that the screw went in when ya pushed in on it and if I had known that I would of been able to increase the flow and been fine but no they don't put that on the caseing next to the flow adjust arrow go figure. The 334xp and 338xp's you felt the screw click at each setting like my 385xp does. One of the few changes on these saws I wish they never did. So stupid

true that you SHOULD have two hands on the saw, but I don't in all cases. there is such a thing as being over zealous with the safety. handsaws are more dangerous imo. if you can't run a saw without cutting yourself you don't need to be climbing, or in a bucket in the first place.

    saluti
