Dubrovnik looks so beautiful, historic and with wonderful architecture. Lovely embroidered hankies, I'm sure your mum was delighted. The Croatian sweet delicacies look yummy. I loved this travel vlog and seeing beautiful Croatia, Miranda. I would love to see more such travel vlogs including Donna in the future. I adore travelling and can’t wait to visit lots more countries now that the covid travel restrictions have been relaxed. I have loved visiting places like Rome, Athens, Prague, Vienna and Barcelona in the past and I am sure you and Donna would love seeing these historic places which are also so full of local culture. We love Croatia and have had many wonderful holidays there. I remember after we walked the walls in Dubrovnik visiting a cloister with orange trees it was so cool and peaceful (it was August!). Then we went to hear a string quartet who suddenly did a rendition of ‘Three little maids’ from The Mikado which was hilarious, so out of context. I thoroughly recommend Opatija and Rovinj on the Istrian peninsula. Ann Bridge’s Illyrian Spring is a very suitable read for this part of the world. I am just wondering was there an element of learning about being an influencer as part of the trip, or was it just for like minded people?Have a fabulous few days with you Dad, so looking forward to the next video x
It is such a beautiful place; I can see why you return! I have read Illyrian Spring and certainly though of it whilst I was there. The trip was a gifted press trip for influencers / bloggers, arranged by Jet2 and the Dubrovnik Tourist Board. I don't know Jet2's criteria for which influencers they invited, but I was certainly delighted to be one of them! xxx

I read (and loved) "Illyrian Spring" several months ago and watching your vlog brought many of the scenes in the book alive to me. I lost my Mom (and best friend) 3 years ago and I remember carefully picking out gifts for her when I traveled and her joy when she opened them. I loved this travel vlog and seeing beautiful Croatia, Miranda. I would love to see more such travel vlogs including Donna in the future. I adore travelling and can’t wait to visit lots more countries now that the covid travel restrictions have been relaxed. I have loved visiting places like Rome, Athens, Prague, Vienna and Barcelona in the past and I am sure you and Donna would love seeing these historic places which are also so full of local culture. We love Croatia and have had many wonderful holidays there. I remember after we walked the walls in Dubrovnik visiting a cloister with orange trees it was so cool and peaceful (it was August!). Then we went to hear a string quartet who suddenly did a rendition of ‘Three little maids’ from The Mikado which was hilarious, so out of context. I thoroughly recommend Opatija and Rovinj on the Istrian peninsula. Ann Bridge’s Illyrian Spring is a very suitable read for this part of the world. I am just wondering was there an element of learning about being an influencer as part of the trip, or was it just for like minded people?Have a fabulous few days with you Dad, so looking forward to the next video x
It is such a beautiful place; I can see why you return! I have read Illyrian Spring and certainly though of it whilst I was there. The trip was a gifted press trip for influencers / bloggers, arranged by Jet2 and the Dubrovnik Tourist Board. I don't know Jet2's criteria for which influencers they invited, but I was certainly delighted to be one of them! xxx

Thank you for taking us along on your trip, Miranda. The scenery was beautiful and I felt like I had a little mini vacation. I read (and loved) "Illyrian Spring" several months ago and watching your vlog brought many of the scenes in the book alive to me.
Just wanted to comment on the lovely relationship you have with your parents which is so heartwarming and refreshing. I lost my Mom (and best friend) 3 years ago and I remember carefully picking out gifts for her when I traveled and her joy when she opened them. As I watched the end of your vlog, I was overcome with many sweet memories.

I've already read it (and reviewed and recommended it on here a few times!). I have so many books I have to read on my TBR that I didn't want to reread a book I'd read pretty recently. But yes, it's a great book for the area.
