- While I decided to take a step back from social media and youtube for a little while, I haven't been just sitting around. I have been working nonstop trying to get caught up from covid and surgery. You can see how much progress I have made in the last 6 weeks . Things are starting to move a little faster now and the push to be moved in before Christmas is in full swing.

About Me.
In 2018 I decided to stop working for someone else full time and pursue my dream of building my log home and starting a small farm in the Ozark mountains. It's a dream that I have had and have been working towards for over 20 years, and due to life changes and unexpected events, I decided to make a leap of faith. This journey will not be without its challenges and setbacks, but I will continue to push forward each and every day to make this dream a reality. I try to upload videos 3 days a week but working mostly alone I am always pressed for time.

Looking great. I hope you thought about putting a walk in shower in that is wheelchair assessable in case you need it. We did and it sure paid off. My husband was in a wreck and it sure come in handy.

100% behind you with no videos in lieu of working on the house. It's a lot of work to do both. I too am a DIY'er and can appreciate the amount of time, money and energy that goes into just the work on the house; not to mention the filming on top of it. The house really look great! My vote for the bedroom attic door - trim and T&G. As for the trimming needing done throughout the house - once all the must do's are completed, I'd regroup, reorganize and make sure I am rested (not burnt-out) and I am 100% so I could not drop the ball on the trim (the detail that matters). Thanks for the up date. Glad all is well. (JF)

it is so absolutely great to have you back!!! specially looking as handsome and in great shape as you do, you both lost some weight and really look healthy and full of energy!!! the house is just plain stunning, I really like the main door, it gives it a touch of "elegance" that balances well with the big logs surrounding it. And once the white around it is gone it will look just plain amazing! April working diligently... i hate vacuuming but i understand the need to do it, specially to take out all the little wood dust in the little holes and crevasses... I think it is great you took some time off, you had to recover and absolutely needed some time to be "free" of the camera and the amount of time it takes away from the house. I just am really happy to have you back. I missed you. How are he animals doing?

Great to see what you've got done, looks fantastic. As far as not posting, I understand completely, only thing was I was hoping everyone was ok, that's probably most people's thought. I know I get spoiled seeing what you were doing on a regular basis, so you got to be like family and when I didn't see you I just hoped you weren't sick. If a person hasn't done any kind of building project they have no idea what all it entails, the time, energy and effort...especially when you get on a roll and working away and then find the camera didn't record it. Take your time and do what is best for you. Looking down when you were on the ladder, that's a L-O-N-G ways down, be extremely careful. Stay safe ,be careful, take it easy and keep warm and dry.
Thank you so much. You know how much work goes into all this along with everything else I have to do and then you add all the filming, editing and all that . If I were doing this for a living I would make the videos a priority and would take a lot more time doing it to make better videos.
