I still remember EVERYTHING about the day that this episode aired. I was in the 9th grade and I used to tape GH every day and watch it after school. This aired on a Friday and I remember thinking that it was without a doubt the hottest thing that I had ever seen. I practically wore out my VHS tape that weekend rewinding and watching it over and over and over again. Even after all of these years this kiss still remains one of the greatest screen kisses ever. I know I'll never forget it.

I so remember this scene. I had this episode taped and showed it to my then boyfriend who used to laugh at me and a friend when he'd hear us rave about Sonny and Brenda's chemistry. After watching the scene he totally understood!

@@ameliajmoran8617 Oh I saw that scene with Carly and it's not nearly as memorable or has hot as this kiss in the alley. Carly and Sonny never came close to the heat VM and MB generated. Not even close...partly because none of the Carlies look as good with Sonny as VM's Brenda does. In the scene with SJB as Carly....SJB has a masculinity to her that makes Sonny and Carly look cheap together to me...like a prostitute with her john...no offense.

Today is National Kissing Day. This was the first thing I thought of. To this day it's my favorite kiss of all time (on screen that is hehe).
I've already commented but I have to comment again because this is seriously the hottest scene EVER! I feel like my computer screen is going to melt from the heat of that kiss. S and B had more chemistry together than any other TV couple I've ever seen since. Sonny is just not the same without Brenda. Watching scenes like this makes me long for the golden days of GH when it was so good you didn't want to miss a single second.

He said he thought she was sexy, not just because of her looks, but because she was someone who not just looked good but was real nice. He said that was sexy to him. So, I know they would have hooked up because I also remember VM having a tv interview saying that she couldn't wait to start working w/ the "new guy" MB who was set to play Sonny..lol! I'm guessing she liked him from the start?

I paid the tickets proudly. That was back in the day where you knew you forgot to set the VCR, or you did not have a tape in the machine, or it was a major thunderstorm roaring and flicking your electricity. You could never be safe during this time, esp.. at the beginning of their relationship during their many attempts at making love. I would have died had I missed any of those, ahhh the good days.

Sonny and Brenda we're apart for at least 4 months at this point. The reunion was about 6 months after this on the docks, before Frog face told Sonny she was knocked up.

I LOVE this moment. Thank you so much for posting it. My favorite parts are the nearly silent ones. At 3:42, when he's kissing her lips off and he does this little growl, I swear my toes invountarily CURL. And then at 4:21 when they're "dancing" toward the door, he whispers this helpless "Okay, baby", that makes me melt into my shoes!

Love the look from Mike towards Sonny and Brenda, it was priceless. Did Sonny do a little dip towards Brenda when she said, "We're figure it out!" Sonny getting ready to give the room a show...darn police...WTF Lee Lee talking about..."You happy now" to Brenda.. The Feds already had a file on Sonny before she wore the wire, it escalated and gave them what they needed when Sonny was moving all that money around for Stone medical bills without having it washed first. Then Damien had his info in his bank deposit box un-coded. Of note, all of these investigations got started because Luke went after Damien. Him and Laura went to the FBI. Also, Katherine gave information to Mac for the FBI. I wished someone in Luke's would have took in what Damien said, "What's wrong Luke you go fishing and caught the wrong fish."
Yep, gave them the file, but everyone blaming a wire that was NEVER turned in and didn't even have anything incriminating on it.

@@xolexo5324 well..really if I could've rewrote the story, Brenda would have been with Jagger...don't really care what would've happened to Karen...but then I would've had a bit of a love triangle between Sonny Brenda and Jagger, and Brenda having to choose...Lily could've been used as Sonny's love interest or whatever, still let her father blow up the car because he thought it would be he and Brenda in the car...then Sonny could've still had that torture mess...Jagger would've left because Brenda finally chose Sonny, and after she did, Sonny wouldn't get with her because of his guilt over Lily...then Jax could come in etc...any rewrite is better than having Brenda stalling Sonny and getting desperate to the point of getting herself lost in a stupid avalanche storm
@@ameliajmoran8617 ugh the avalanche was peak desperation. it was also so out of character. I remember when Brenda realized Jagger was choosing Karen, she picked up her bags and ran straight into Sonny at the docks; never thought of him again. Jagger and Brenda had way more chemistry than Miguel and Brenda that's for sure.
I read an interview from a writer that said the wire was not supposed to happen and they begged the executive to not do it. The original plan was for Brenda to be framed and put on trial bc of Sonny's crimes. Since Jagger was a police officer, they could have had him working law enforcement and help Brenda get out of that mess, then temporarily be with him before forgiving Sonny for his lies. It would also make sense for Jagger to be around for Stone's death. I remember when he visited they gave him a scene with Brenda and they couldn't stop staring at each other; I wonder if the writers were considering it. I never liked how the wire turned Brenda into the villain when sonny was the guilty one.

I loved Jax for the sinple fact that he made Sonny realize that Brenda was who he wanted to be with and when Sonny left Jax was there for Brenda through her breakdown. He helped her become a stronger woman better able to understand and love Sonny. Jason and Brenda, to me, were alway meant to be what they portray Jason and Carly as, best friends. I love the chemistry they had as friends and I wanted to see more of that.
