As a young Lance Corporal (L/Cpl) I met this giant of a man (he was very tall) when he was a- BGen Peterson and right in front of MCX (Marine Corps Exchange) on Camp LeJeune, NC and he asked me and several others our names-short conversational stuff but it made our day! I damn near Shyt in my pants considering up out of the blue that a one-Star General would speak 2Us just in general convo! Oorah!!!

I met this man he can’t fly in a CH 46 he was humble and down-to-earth Marine. I’ll never forget what he said look how big I am and they put me in a F-4 he enjoyed his flight in the CH-46 Helicopter. I respect this man it goes to show you any and everything is possible. “Breaking barriers”, that’s funny. When I was enlisted a black marine falsely accused me of being racist and making “racist remarks”. He couldn’t prove anything and I had only said very few things to him and we were always in the presence of others so you figure it wouldn’t be that hard to prove. With no evidence the chain of command took his side because they didn’t want to have to deal with an E.O. Complaint. “Breaking barriers” why don’t you start with actually enforcing equality instead of virtue signaling.

Virtue signaling only weakens the corps. If everyone really is equal then why would one need to virtue signal at all? This is exactly the type of thing that is starting to make ppl laugh at you. This is not the corps I served in.
